If it's the same as Wales you will have to buy one. I bought a shirt from M&S in LLandudno and was charged 5p for the bag. I didn't want to put it in my shopping bag and hadn't a 'clean' bag on me. I think some items should be exempt from the charge.

This has been in force in Wales for a while now. It made me change my habits when I go and always take a couple of reuseable bags to the shops. What I did find though, was takeaways were also charging 5p for the paper bags that they use. I felt that was a bit unfair.

'Cart Corral' is my phrase of the day, so much better than trolley bay.

Hadn't realised this existed. I was only asking about the women of steel statue as I went to the fundraising concert at the city hall. I know that the funding was secured and they hoped the sculpture would be finished so the ladies could see the results in their lifetime.
