  1. Got this reply from the facebook page. Hi - Sorry we are working our way through them, but it is becoming very busy in the office! Lots of ticket sales coming through, not that we are complaining! Which night are you coming? Gates at 6pm both nights, supports around 7pm (a little earlier on Friday), headliners 9pm, with a finish about 10:30pm both nights, however the curfew is 11pm, just in case we over run slightly. All entrances to the park will be open but the event entrances will be on the footpath between the Hemsworth Road (Animal Park Entrance) and Cobner Road (Event Car Park Entrance) Hope that helps
  2. I'm going on Friday and have a few questions, the Big top web site gives you minimal info. Just sent them a message asking for show start and end times and which entrances to the park will be open/ best to use.
  3. Totally agree with you, some people have no common sense when it comes to parking.
  4. I've waited for my son on Beaver Hill Rd three times this week and I haven't seen any police.
  5. No it's not, the cats are coming to hunt the birds, the birds are there to feed, remove the feeders and the birds won't come and therefore the cats won't come! ---------- Post added 15-06-2013 at 17:08 ---------- That's a stupid answer.
  6. Been with them since December, no problems at all. They were the cheapest I found with the comparison web sites. They even phoned me after I'd paid to tell me I'd been mis quoted and they gave me some money back.
  7. Didn't see it tonight, but the scene behind the presenters is usually Sheffield Station.
  8. On mine the beep becomes continuos at .5 metre, but it does count down to 0. On a car with a poor view out of the back window they are very useful. Nothing wrong with fitting them yourself, as long as you take your time and mark them out properly before you do any drilling. I used a spirit level, straight edge and 2ft steel rule to get them level and equally space and marked the centres onto masking tape before I drilled the bumper, I got a hole saw supplied in the kit. The only wiring you need to do is find an earth and find the live feed for the reverse lights, everything else plugs into the control module.
  9. Try Amazon, my girlfriend bought me some about 5 years ago from there. I fitted them myself and they are great! They start measuring at about 2 metres with an intermittent beep, this gets faster as the distance counts down and turns into a constant beep at .5 metre. I got four rear sensors, a control module and a display for the dashboard. This is what I've got, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Display-Reverse-Buzzer-Parking-Sensors/dp/B0056WKOAI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1369167928&sr=8-2&keywords=parking+sensor
  10. I sometimes get a feeling that something is holding me in the bed, I need to get up but something won't let me, or I'm trying to shout out but I can't make a noise. Usually happens just as I'm falling asleep, eventually I wake up. When I've mentioned what's happened to my partner she says I'm restless or unsettled just before I wake up.
  11. If the plugs you use dont grip the central core with a little screw, put a slight kink in the central core wire of the coax, this will make sure it makes good contact inside the plug when you assemble it.
  12. I work shifts, mornings and nights, I asked my insurance company about the question "where is the vehicle kept overnight?" In theory half the year it's at home, the other half it's at work, they said you should put the address of where you sleep as where the vehicle is kept.
  13. I've used Viber to make calls and send texts from Europe and USA, I've found it's only as good as the wifi network you connect to. Called from Tenerife using hotel wifi network and got good clear calls, called from Florida using wifi in a McDonalds and the calls kept dropping or suffered from lag.
  14. The 23:20 flare managed to shine through the cloud, didn't expect to see it when I got up to look.
  15. Busy up there tonight, caught the one at 23:09 as it faded out, my app says one at 23:18, missed that, one at 23:19, saw that one. Next one at 00:07.
  16. Should be a good one this, very clear tonight.
  17. Started looking at about 23:08, I've got an app on my phone that tells me which direction to look.
  18. Good one that, nice and easy to view, not too high so could see it without going outside.
  19. You're forgetting the fact that the average Sheffield Forum user knows everything about everything and will come on here and tell everyone that they've seen some workmen doing a job wrong. It could be pot holes being filled, roads being gritted or lamposts being installed, instead of going out and telling the workmen how it should be done they'll come on here instead.
  20. I don't use this bit of the Parkway very often but I was dropping some one off at the train station last week and though of this thread. I noted which cars had taken this short cut, most of the traffic was turning left onto Derek Dooley Way so I ended up passing them anyway when they got stuck waiting to turn right.
  21. Hasn't anyone got a more reliable source of information? Something like a mate on Facebook?!
  22. I can see all six from my front bedroom window. As far as I know the only ones that have turned so far are the two to the far left as I view them from Woodhouse. There's one turning at the moment, this one was the first to be finished and has been turning more or less constantly for about two weeks.
