I noticed last night that it now has a sign up Cawa Coffee or Cava Coffee, cant really make it out, so it must be opening soon.

The one at Banner Cross has also closed again, only reopened a few months ago

I did hear it was going to be Dominos Pizza, just what we need on Crookes !

I went with some friends on a Friday lunch time I was not impressed at all, after my last experience some time ago, thought we would give it a try. The menu is very limited, either pizza, burgers or breakfasts.. Some sandwiches so I had the crispy buttered chicken, well there was a lot of overcooked crispy but not much chicken. My friend had a bacon sandwich and asked for some mushrooms on it but that would have been £2 extra!! Gave it a chance but wont be going again.

There are quite a few businesses up there, so surely they deserve to have their roads and pavements resurfaced considering the amount of business rates they pay. Its not just residential areas that are getting resurfaced

I went last week with a friend, its ok, but not many decent places to have a sandwich and a cup of tea, ended up in Gregs, also there are no public toilets, but overall its seems a nice place.

It should go up Brook Hill on to Weston Bank then loop round at Broomhill down Glossop road then it would serve all the hospitals in that area of the city. I know they would never do it but it makes sense

I recently sent a parcel to Taiwan, by I Post, I took it their depot on the tuesday afternoon and I got confirmation it had been received on Friday morning. You can just print your label off if you go on to their web site. I always use I post for anything heavy.

All post offices ask what is in your packages, the girls in the Crookes PO never did, when the really should have done. Just lie when they ask you tell them its sex toys or something. !

I have just looked at the website you put up and it is well out of date. It still has the times before most of them went to one collection usually in the morning.

We ditched Sky last October, got fed up with all the price increases. We went with BT TV As we have BT broadband unlimited it has worked out a lot cheaper, we get all the channels we want (that we watched on Sky) and so far haven't had any problems,

I'm with you there actionman, I don't mind the darker mornings, and lets face it its only for a few weeks, then its light at 4 o'clock in the morning. The one thing I don't like is dark nights, everything seems to close down and people "hibernate" Double summertime is what we need.

I had my knee replacement last year and I just wore a pair of crocs, which are comfy, easy to put on and don't slip. I noticed that some of the other people on the ward also had them on. I know some people scoff about crocs, but you are not there to make a fashion statement.

We went a couple of weeks ago for my birthday and couldn't fault it. The food was nice and the staff were pleasant and friendly, must be different people on different nights. As I said, I enjoyed it and we are going again this week.

Fingers crossed Hope they don't find any excuses not to do it ie. bad weather
