  1. On the way home today somebody asked when we go back to spring lane rather than gleadless and the conductor said Monday. Had a look on their website and indeed it says it ends 06 october. Was looking forward to 'normality' tommorrow when it was schedluded to return
  2. A bit off topic but a fab article about how the trams used to be http://www.thestar.co.uk/nostalgia/retro-fond-memories-of-city-s-super-trams-1-6103811 They've had problems from day one ---------- Post added 03-10-2013 at 09:01 ---------- Got on at Westfield today and at about every stop there was the recorded announcement saying replacement buses from spring lane. Got my hopes up they had finished early and back to the good old B1 service, but driver made announcement just as we got to gleadless. Sat on the B3 not getting anywhere fast

  13. Good work Whilst surfing the net I see they are tendering for phase 2 of the works http://www.sypte.co.uk/ContractsAvailable.aspx?id=3554 hope they learn some lessons from the current farce ! Every time I go past the workers it seems to be a different crew and getting younger, maybe cost cutting ? Agree about too many staff at bus stops, thank god they got rid of those foam fingers ! Good job they only gave out feedback forms near start of the work, theyd get much different responses now

  18. Cheers for the lone ranger critic link, what an arse that guy is Went to see Grown Ups 2 tonight, couldn't go to early afternoon showing, one I went to the cinema was full of kids, I felt right old ! Quite enjoyable film. 8/10 Seeing Kick ass 2 on wednesday, hope that'll be better than the trailer suggests !
  19. lone ranger IMAX edition - 10/10, didn't seem too long, good plot, some mentalness and great music
  20. Alan Partridge - way better than the trailer would suggest, think I will go see it again tommorrow
  21. very disappointed that Luisa didn't win - too many things could go wrong with Leah's company, especially the slow training of the staff over the 3 years. If I had the money I'd invest in Luisa, although £250k wouldnt be enough I think.
  22. Think that was the best interview session ever, and the final looks like it will be fab too. Gutted that Neil went but he'll be OK. Hope Luisa wins
  23. The girls worked well together and looked foxy at the end, the doc looks good with red lipstick Jordan was lucky to stay, I think Lord Sugar sees dollar signs thinking about his business plan but doesnt want to give things away
  24. This is the end 10/10, just what you need when in Stevenage overnight:)
