If ferkwits didn't think they were Nicki effin Lauda everytime they get inside their cars then speed limits wouldn't be needed. Unfortunately there are many drivers with the brain of a squirrel and equally as unfortunate we do not prosecute anywhere near as many of these squirrel brained fools as we should do.

Tell you what a lot of these students are in for a culture shock going to sheffield.i grew up there and left to go to uni at 21,in all the places i have been i have never seen so many physical attacks at night than i did in Sheffield. Every weekend when i went out there was trouble.some of these kids wont have experienced anything like it.

Rather than giving this lad a good hiding,they need to find out why he ran off. "incident at school " suggests bullying and if true if anyone deserves a slap its the bullies.schools never do much to sort it out

I despise inconsiderate lard arses who sit in their cars eating, or on their phones whilst not paying attention to how they are driving - and then nearly knock me off my bike or when i am a pedestrian they dont stop at zebra crossings. Furthermore the rules on trains are that thereis a designated cycle area which is clearly marked on the carriage thus if you sit there expect to have to move if a cyclist quite rightly gets on the train. It doesnt take a genius to understand the rules. Shows what society has come to when a cyclist gets abuse just for doing something people have done for centuries - your cars have messed up the towns and cities and have contributed to the growing number of fat lazy oafs i see sat in traffic jams everyday

Who is paying for the roads to be resurfaced, for the extra policing required,for the roads to be shut and traffic diverted amongst many other things that will need to be paid for? Ill give you a clue - its taken out of your wage every month

despite what some people say on this thread this council and many others are run by a bunch of self serving tools. they could cut their budgets for their jollies,nonjobs,expenses and stop paying themselves ridiculous wages..i mean what is julie dore on? she wouldnt even get to supervisor level in my place of work.stop defending this shower..they are supposed to be labour which are supposed to encourage social mobility..how can you have that withou the help of things like public libraries? the OP was shouted down for what..having an opinion that your ****house of a council are once again using the people they serve as political pawns..and you lot defending them are ripe for the picking.

have any of you thought of home schooling? lets face it the stamdard of education in many secondary schools is poor sometimes for the good of you and your kids future and not to mention sanity homesxhooling can be a legitimate option

i dont post much but due to some morons on here i had to say my piece. i grew up in pitsmoor in 80's and 90's and loved that place.it was somewhere kids would go that was constructive and got them away from the house..some of the kids had crappy homelives and got away from it all at th adventure playground. it saddens me that in a country that allows bonuses in the milions to poshos who move money around pays footballers 100k a week - something constructive that brings a bit of light to kids lives is being shut just to save a few grand. get rid of none jobs in the council and u could have plenty money for community projects such as this. i live miles away from pitsmoor now but ill never forget my roots and it hurts to hear about how such a great place could be going. sick world we have that has its priorities all wrong
