The ward I was in(very recently)still had the pay TV. The lady who came round cleaning them explained that they were free to use before midday. After midday you had to pay. That ward was Huntsman 4 NGH.

Yes I remember Stephen. He lived around the corner from Woodthorpe close on Queen Mary Road. He had an older sister called Lynn and I believe a younger sister but I can't remember her name. They were a really nice family.I am sorry I don't know where Stephen lives now but the last time I saw Lynn I think she was living in gleadless area.

Is this the reason so many council houses have got mattresses+chairs +cabinets etc.in their front garden? Do they save them up until its worth ringing for a free collection every 12 months?

As title says can anyone recommend a type of grass seed that is suitable for repairing bald patches in my lawn. I have two dogs so the grass needs to be hardy. Thank you.

Try the bakery INSIDE crystal peaks market ( not the one in the doorway).I can't remember the name of the stall but their tray bake meat pies are delicious. They make a variety of pies .

Bedroom tax how much is it ?

If you need all 3 bedrooms for people to sleep in you won't pay any bedroom tax. If not why are you moving into a house more suited to a family. By the way I totally disagree with this disgraceful tax. -

For a couple of months in 1963 I had to travel from Wincobank to Prince Edwards at Manor top. The number 2 circular bus was a godsend. -

Has anyone lost a Yorkie in the Eastern Avenue /Manor Top area? Just been walking in that area and saw him /her.Tried to approach it but he was very nervous and ran off.

Try crushing the tablets and mixing them into potted meat. Our jack Russel has to have quite a large tablet every day and this never fails.

That was where we kept the"coyl". You either had a coyl ouse or a coyl bunker depending how posh you were.

When my kids were babies they both had the big silver cross prams but they also had cheap folding pushchairs for when we went on buses. In those days you could only take a pram on a bus if it was folded.
