How to register a child in school
harleyd replied to Linzi 1984's topic in Sheffield Parenting Group
You can request Mornings usually 9-12 or afternoons 12-3 if school based or 1-4 if a Private Nursery, or include Full days, whatever you think is better for your Child, my Daughter will be attending 5 mornings starting next week. However after Xmas, she'll be doing 1 full day(if they have space)and 3 morning. You don't have to use all your 15 hr entitlement it's up to you how many you want to use Hope this helps -

You need to be ringing around now for the Nurseries you prefer, get her Name down and hopefully you'll get a place. My daughter's had her name down since she was 11 mths because l know it's a popular place Good Luck -

harleyd replied to Brummy Mummy's topic in Sheffield Parenting Group
Hi There's a Playgroup at Sacred Heart Church(In the Presbytery), Forbes Rd on Tuesday Morning 10-12, very friendly Mums and Babies/Toddlers Everyone welcome -
My DD is 3 in June and is the same, just about got it with the Wees(caught it with the potty:hihi:), but No 2's forget it. Don't worry about it, get some Childrens books from the library about going on the potty, these helped my son loads. My DD's not interested in what the book says. Try him every couple of weeks or so but don't put pressure and get some reward stickers(they do work). September is still a long way off- The Nursery is being unfair, most Nurseries l know will help parents with Toilet Training, not every child is trained before nursery Good Luck Denise

My little Boy suffers with this, and is under the Childrens for it. His Right ear was the worst but when we went back in August they had both improved a lot to the point where they were going to discharge him, but like your Child he still can't hear if i'm doing something else -washing his hair for example. This week he's got a cold and is now worse than ever - all l get is What What What!!!!!, the Childrens want to see him again in March to find out if it's now just bad when he's congested and if so he'll be having grommets then - our luck he won't have a cold:hihi: Dee
