  1. They do make alot of their own though. Stopping arms supply won't immediately stop what they're doing. They will probably just end up have larger stockpiles, meaning they won't need additional support from allies in the future.
  2. Aye took me a sec, but the property section just got moved slightly. It's a good section, helps alot of people with the info it contains.
  3. Who would you leave it to though? The communist party was technically still ruling the place, they hobbled along for a couple of years after the Soviets left. Then the Taliban/Mujahideen took control after a couple of civil wars.
  4. He also shouted "I can't breath" fairly loudly, along with a load of other stuff. Restrained at the wrists with a hand on each shoulder, but no-one pressing on his chest. Head was free to move around too, so it's not like they pressed his face into the mattress or anything. From the footage, he looks like he had a heart attack rather than suffocated?
  5. Unfortunately "I can't breath" is one of the first things out of alot of criminals mouths when a copper is trying to detain them. Usually said in the hope they'd back off and give an opportunity to escape.
  6. China would have been already to be honest, the increasingly authoritarian policies being brought in are really starting to hamper growth. Not to mention the impending age and pension crisis, that's going to be a real biggie when it hits.
  7. And people using Teletext on the telly for news. The same telly that has 24/7 news channels on it.
  8. Also you can brew alcohol in your own home, so any attempted ban would end up just like Prohibition did in America.
  9. I know someone that was posting levels around 6 or 7, they had PET and MRI scans, nothing was found. I think you're in the wait and see category for now?
  10. The Iron Dome system only stops those missiles that it thinks will fall on populated areas, so perhaps it stopped 99% that were coming to Jerusalem, and left the rest to fall in fields and stuff? It's not like they are know for their accuracy, most probably went well far off the mark.
  11. Yes the best and only advice is to get rid of them as soon as you are legally entitled to. Waiting till house sale time is asking for trouble, they are under no obligation to act swiftly to assist in your sale. They are notorious for extremely poor communication as well as making everything as lengthy and needlessly time consuming as possible. Nether Edge law have the process for purchasing the freehold reversion down to a T, get them on the case. Don't attempt to contact Coppen yourself, you are wasting your time.
  12. Not of the two world wars they won't. There are scant few people still alive that remember the actual war, especially anyone currently aged 60, they would have been born in 1964. Anyone still alive that remembers fighting in the actual war will be close to 100 today.
  13. I don't think a solid flywheel conversion is that much cheaper than a replacement DMF anyway. The only benefit would be that after another 150k miles your DMF would again need replacing, while the regular flywheel could just be skimmed and re-used.
  14. Did you see some of the stuff they put out after the missile strike? Since none of the missiles actually did any damage they used a load of footage from a forest fire in Chile, claiming it was aftermath of their attack 🤣🤣 https://en.royanews.tv/news/50684/2024-04-14
  15. Israel has been suspected of having nukes for decades now. It'd be extremely unwise for Iran to have a pop at them with a nuke of their own. Doubtful they'd be silly enough to actually sell a nuclear weapon. The isotype ratio of the material in the bomb can be matched back to the source reactor, as each has a slightly different ratio it kinda acts like a fingerprint.
  16. Ordered mine off Temu, I'm not fully convinced it's upto the job tho...................
  17. Not sure on the Mondeo, but I've heard some of the Transit engines fall apart if you switch to a single mass unit. They need the dual mass unit to keep the engine from rattling apart.
  18. Very stupid, but both sides are in a position where they need to respond to keep their political alliances happy. Iran couldn't let the strike on it's consulate and General go unanswered and likewise I doubt Netanyahu can let a direct strike from Iran on Israel go unanswered either. Perhaps if Iran has just used it's proxys, but it didn't, and that's a big escalation.
  19. France, Jordan and America have both been named as helping to stop the drone and missile attack. Also Iraq, Syria and Yemen have also been named as locations alongside Iran that the attack was launched from.
  20. Our planes were involved in the attack on Israel? Are you insane?
  21. and to keep America engaged with the war, it's deeply unpopular there (well everywhere obviously) Technically it wasn't the consulate, it was outside of the consulate compound wasn't it?
  22. It varies greatly, so much it's not really possible to really calculate. For example with crude oil, the stuff pumped out of Saudi Arabia was discovered long ago, and the actual cost to get it our of the ground (lifting cost) is some of the cheapest in the world. All of the infrastructure is already in place, even it's position globally is quite advantageous and the oil itself is of pretty decent quality. Compare that to emerging markets, lots of exploratory drilling has to be done to even find the oil, ALL the infrastructure needs to be built and installed, and for quite a number of instances, they're drilling deeper and further to find the stuff. That's before you consider the quality, some oil requires so much processing to produce a clean end product, that it takes more energy to do than is in the fuel produced.
  23. The part where he actually describes the murder, it says she fell over and hit her head on the floor. In actuality, her throat was cut so deep it nearly decapitated her.
