Get a quote and ask him if he is willing to pay without dealing with insurance. Someone hit me in Sainburys car park and it was only a £150 repair,they agreed to pay without going through insurance as their premium would be adversely affected.

Fully agree regarding the rotten service/attitude of the staff(similar problems to the OP). I stopped using them a while ago even though they were convenient for work,prefer to use a more friendly/polite pharmacy.

If so then OP should ask for a change of job role to perhaps filling shelves or collecting trolleys or suchlike....I am sure there bad back would clear up quickly

I work 9 hours a day on my feet as a waiter,maybe I should ask my employer for a chair? What about your work colleagues who unload the stock or fill shelves are they allowed a chair? However to answer your question of course they are allowed to do this. Perhaps look for a job that involves sitting down.
