I am a single person and my tax code is 356T. I thought that meant I could earn £3,560 before paying tax. What happened to the £11,500 (roughly) we could earn before tax

 

I'm confused. I've tried ringing tax office and it was a recorded message asking me to speak my problem, I got very frustrated and hung up. Is it possible to speak to a human being anymore?

Thinking of this for a couple of days but am still perplexed as to how this scam works (Base Green Co-op). If a person is working at a till/cash register and a customer returns an unwanted item having already paid for it. Say item is worth 5 quid, then cashier gives customer 5 pounds back then till is then 'light' by that amount. Even tho' store has 'voided' item back (what happens to item then ?). If clerk takes cash value of item-another fiver- then till is 10 quid down which surely would be discovered later same day, I assume.

there is no customer, she makes a void,the till is up for the amount of the void, she then pockets the difference.

Total rubbish,in Dronfield all can be done online and normally can get an appointment the same day,friends in Sheffield are always commenting on how good it is.

also remember that if its a few years old you can check the MOT history here to see if its had any obvious fails etc

How much do you pay roughly to powder coat something like the above? I'm looking at doing a bike frame.

shot blasting and powder coating on my very large bull bar was quoted at approx £100 which was about what I was expecting for a proper job,they quoted £45-£55 per wheel depending if tyres were fitted or not,when I enquired,may think about getting mine done soon

Tried the place at Chesterfield called DFB off Brimmington Rd,nobody around to help me or give me a price so went to Two Brothers,they couldn't be more unhelpful if they tried,they wanted me to take it somewhere else for shot blasting first then bring it to them for powder coating,when I asked where to take it I got the response "just google it" I walked away.

Then went to CBF Powder Coatings just off Penistone Rd,really nice people and very helpful,they got my business.
