(Family friendly) As always we run three seperate tours, each catered for a different audience, all of our tours are wheelchair accessable and we never go faster than the slowest walker. All tours are city centre based and can be booked for a different date or day if you can't make the weekday tours, at no extra charge! All we ask is for a minimum group size of five adults, and we are flexible on start and finish times. Hello all, Here's the dates for the winter tours being run by Steel City Ghost Tours, as always we ask you to dress for the weather we have and to let us know if you do get too cold. We start the Ghost Tours at 7.30pm outside the Sheffield Town Hall steps (the large building with a clock tower next to the Peace Gardens), costs are £5 per Adult, £4 per Oap/Student and £2.50 for a child under 13. We always go at the slowest pace of the group and if time constraints have you having to leave early from a tour just let Mr P know so we know you've gone. We don't need any more ghosts made on tour, we've got enough already. Each tour is different and we can do you a private tour on a different night if you can't make a public one, all we ask is you have a minimum group of five and the costs are the same as above. We don't charge extra on these nights just that the stories are a little different from our usual tours and only happen once a year! We don't need people jumping out at you to scare you, the true stories are enough! And if that isn't enough for you we're also running our Crime and Murder Tour on the 17th November 2019 from the front of the Sheffield Cathedral starting at 7.30pm, we ask for over 16's on this tour as we hold nothing back from you on this tour and we don't wish to corrupt a minor on tour. Cost is £5 per head, and please dress fro the weather!

Hello All, This Sunday we're out and about on the Crime and Murder Tour, meeting outside the Sheffield Cathedral at 7.30pm for a night of real crime and horrific murders that happened on our very streets. Come and join Mr P Dreadful for a walk into the dark past that surrounds you all the time, over 16's only as we don't hold back on the truth and the gory details. Costs £5 per person starts 7.30pm and finishes around 10pm. Hope to see you there!

Hello all, Just a quick note to let you know because of the road race on the 24th of July 2019, we won't be running the usual Wednesday Night Ghost Tour. Roads will be closed and routes we need will be closed off so we've decided to cancel this one night. We'll be back out on the 25th as usual 7.30pm outside the Sheffield Town Hall steps.

Hello everyone! Sheffield Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Group are back! We're doing another writing event for the World of Escafeld! The event is on the 10th of November starting 10am til 4.30pm, doors open at 9.30am for registration, cost for the event is only £10! For a full day of talks, Q&A's, panels and full writing workshops, we've managed to keep the price the same as last year. The cost is payable on the day. Topics we're covering this year are, research and world building, how to plot your story, likeable characters, cultures in conflict, how to show real emotion in written characters and criminal behaviours. We also give people the opportunity to write their own short story to be included in the next Age of Escafeld anthology. If you are unable to attend in person this year we are also doing virtual tickets.
