Hi due to the recent death of a dearly loved friend whose funeral was yesterday ,god bless Mark Bryan ,brought back alot of memories obviously good and bad, which led me to searching the internet and is the reason why I am replying to this post I was there on the day of this tragic accident. If I remember correctly which I am sure I do,and if I am wrong please forgive me as the last thing I want is to upset anybody, two lads died that day one was called David Wright and I am sure you are correct when you say the other lads name was Danny, didnt know them well at all but if the building had collapsed ten minutes earlier I would not be writing this post. As for a little fire causing the the collapse of a brick and concrete structure I find extremely unlikely we are talking about a camp fire not an inferno. I would say that it was due to old dilapidated concrete which was the roof and because of its age and the cracks within it the steel reinforcing which holds the concrete together had corroded completely through and was no longer holding the concrete together causing it to be extremely unstable.Basically the buildings should have been demolished but tragically as in many cases it takes a disaster to happen before action is taken God bless all in involved you will never be forgotten xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
