  1. As mentioned above, anyone with information, please contact Northumbria Police on 01661 872 555. Here is a reference number too: 1123 I'll see if I can get someone to sort a twitter link out. Thanks again.
  2. This sounds really useful - I have contacted the family to see if they have and incident number that you can quote. Apologies about the telephone number given, I wrongly assumed 101 was a national service as it is frequently used in the north east. The police have been made aware by Garry's bank that there has been another withdrawal made from his account in Sheffield today so any information within the area is vital. They are obviously using CCTV to try and trace any movements. Thanks again everyone.
  3. Thank you, and appreciate you doing that with the links.
  4. Garry Shemmings from Sunderland is currently missing and is believed to be in the Sheffield area. There has been no sightings in Sheffield as yet, but if anyone has seen or spoken to Garry over the last few days, please contact the Police on 101, or if you'd prefer, contact me via PM. As I am new to the forum, I can't post links, so please remove the spaces in the following links. Here is a link to a local newspaper article: chroniclelive . co . uk/north-east-news/evening-chronicle-news/2012/08/02/search-launched-for-missing-man-from-sunderland-72703-31532552/ The picture here gives more details and a better view of Garry's face: facebook . com/#!/photo.php?fbid=10151133391001458&set=a.10151133390796458.499918.515766457&type=3&theater He is a very approachable and affable lad, so do not have any hesitation in approaching him. His family are understandably very worried for his safety. Thank you on their behalf.
