Wadsley Festival is BACK! There is a ticked barn dance on Friday 22nd June 7:30pm in the church hall to open the weekend! On Saturday 23rd June the FREE programme runs from 10:30am - 9pm and is full of kids activities by Wiggletots and Hummingbirds, games with Hullabaloobell Parties, fire engine, meet and greets with Poppy from Trolls, Peppa Pig, Sky from paw patrol, grave yard and local history talks, dance, poetry and live bands to entertain along with food by Licence to Grill and SNS donuts and drinks by the Thirsty Horse and The Angel Share bars. On Sunday 24th June the FREE programme will run from 10:30am until 4:30pm and as England are playing in the World Cup we will be showing it and running kids football themed activities out on the field. Escafeld medieval Society will also be there providing alternative entertainment. There will be exciting stalls, a variety of workshops including hula hooping and Ti Chi along with a fantastic art exhibition on display throughout the weekend. (26TH NOVEMBER) Come and join us for a Roald Dahl themed extravaganza! There will be several different zones hosting games and activities of your favourite stories, from Matilda to Charlie and the chocolate factory. There will be plenty of sweet treats and fabulous prizes to be won such as family passes to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Canon Hall farm, 3 course meal for two at Napoleons Casino, Sunday lunch for 2 at the Wadsley Jack and much more! 100% money raised will go to the Special Care Baby Unit and Sheffield Children's Hospital. Free entry but raffle tickets / bun stall / art auction / games to raise money for the chosen charities. The festival will be like non other you've seen before, running June 3rd, 4th and 5th. It will be bursting with live performances including a ballet performance from former Northern Ballet dancers, local history and grave yard tours, sculpture,interactive science experiments, maze, medieval re enactment, art exhibition, work shops, stalls and local musicians playing throughout with activities for the whole family to enjoy! June 12th, 13th and 14th will be the weekend of the annual Wadsley Arts Festival, but this year will be bigger and better than ever before! With our packed out programme set out ready to entertain and inspire with a variety of arts and activities. Alongside a variety of art work to be exhibited, from sculpture; glass work to watercolour and oils. Some artists listed being top names in the Sheffield art scene; Jason Hepptonstall, Simon Kent, Philip Palmer, Dee Smith and Robin Garside to name a few! Were very excited that Hullabaloobell Charity Events has been asked to collaborate with the Sheffield's finest Big Band MOJO ! We will be hosting a christmas concert which will be held at the Interval Bar (Sheffield Student Union) which will be free entry ! At the event there will be a raffle with some fabulous prizes, mince pies and mulled wine... The band and venue have kindly offered their services free of charge so 100% money raised will go to the Sheffield Children's Hospital and Charity ! see you there 8pm on Monday 15th Dec at the Interval Bar , Western Bank, Sheffield S10 2TG

TONIGHT!!! Thanks to everyone who came to the Wonderland Event in November, we raised £1, 100 for the Sheffield Children's Hospital and Special Care Baby Unit ! I am now on a new mission to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and raise awareness about the need for blood donations (as my son Tiffin now 8 months has had his fair share !) This will be more for the adults as it will be held at the Wadsley Jack Pub who have kindly offered their function room for us to use. It will be Valentines themed as its the week after valentines day ... Craftastic have kindly made all the decorations for it... It will be an evening of live music - Chloe Jade Simmons has agreed to preform ... along with vintage girl band Scarlet Rain ...there will also be a Mr & Mrs quiz (more info to come) along with tasty treats and raffle ... £50 pa jewellry voucher , teeth whitening session at Smile 11, sheffield wednesday tickets and more!0 Traffic light option available but not compulsory , just a bit of fun ... come dressed in; Red - in a relationship Amber - looking for fun Green -single All the money raised (again 100% as we do not have a budget its all donations and volunteers) will go to the British Heart Foundation. Wonderland - an Alice in Wonderland family fun day ... Free Entry for all! Wadsley Church Hall S6 4DD. Update ! Im so excited to announce that Girlband Angles in Chaos will be performing https://www.facebook.com/AngelsinChaos and also City Limits Street Crew are coming !!! Everyone helping out and performing at this event are volunteering so we can give all the money to the charities. this will be a fabulous day with a madhatters tea party, cake raffle, plate spinning, March hare sugar cube challange , eat me" biscuit decorating ,hoopla round "drink me" bottles craft activity - making / painting roses to put on bushes on the wall. When my Son Tiffin was born (now 5 months old!) he was delivered by emergency c section early because they noticed on the scan that he was anemic. He was so poorly and was rushed onto intensive care where he had a full blood transfusion & blood swop - he had nemurous scans, treatments and blood transfusions and is now still under the continued care of the Rygate center / physios/speach & language therapists because of the effect the lack of oxygen has had on his brain. He is now doing so well , hitting all his mile stones so far and loving his little life Because of all the care from the Special Care Baby unit & the childrens hospital we wanted to do this event to raise money & awarness of both charaties but also celebrate Tiffin, the friends he made there (some of which are currently undergoing major treatment) and anyone else that has been through a similar thing and had so much care and treatments given to them as a massive Thank you to them ! Hi , I'm doing an alice in wonderland themed family fundraiser on the 23rd of November. I'm doing this to raise money for the Children's Hospital and special care baby unit as my baby was so poorly and they looked after him so well - he is now 5 months and doing brilliantly ... Would you like to make some cup cakes for us so we could sell them as part of our 'mad hatters tea party" ? No worries if not , Baking is deff not my strong point !
