  1. Wadsley Festival is BACK! There is a ticked barn dance on Friday 22nd June 7:30pm in the church hall to open the weekend! On Saturday 23rd June the FREE programme runs from 10:30am - 9pm and is full of kids activities by Wiggletots and Hummingbirds, games with Hullabaloobell Parties, fire engine, meet and greets with Poppy from Trolls, Peppa Pig, Sky from paw patrol, grave yard and local history talks, dance, poetry and live bands to entertain along with food by Licence to Grill and SNS donuts and drinks by the Thirsty Horse and The Angel Share bars. On Sunday 24th June the FREE programme will run from 10:30am until 4:30pm and as England are playing in the World Cup we will be showing it and running kids football themed activities out on the field. Escafeld medieval Society will also be there providing alternative entertainment. There will be exciting stalls, a variety of workshops including hula hooping and Ti Chi along with a fantastic art exhibition on display throughout the weekend. Come and Join in the Fun at Wadsley Church and its surrounding areas S6 4BB as there is literally something for everyone!
  2. (26TH NOVEMBER) Come and join us for a Roald Dahl themed extravaganza! There will be several different zones hosting games and activities of your favourite stories, from Matilda to Charlie and the chocolate factory. There will be plenty of sweet treats and fabulous prizes to be won such as family passes to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Canon Hall farm, 3 course meal for two at Napoleons Casino, Sunday lunch for 2 at the Wadsley Jack and much more! 100% money raised will go to the Special Care Baby Unit and Sheffield Children's Hospital. Free entry but raffle tickets / bun stall / art auction / games to raise money for the chosen charities.   3. The festival will be like non other you've seen before, running June 3rd, 4th and 5th. It will be bursting with live performances including a ballet performance from former Northern Ballet dancers, local history and grave yard tours, sculpture,interactive science experiments, maze, medieval re enactment, art exhibition, work shops, stalls and local musicians playing throughout with activities for the whole family to enjoy!   4. Delighted In ladies group are hosting a charity bake and baby clothes sale on the 9th April 2016 10am - 12noon. This is to raise money for local charity Baby Basics. This will be held at Wadsley Parish Church S6 4BB we would love to see you there!

  6. June 12th, 13th and 14th will be the weekend of the annual Wadsley Arts Festival, but this year will be bigger and better than ever before! With our packed out programme set out ready to entertain and inspire with a variety of arts and activities. Alongside a variety of art work to be exhibited, from sculpture; glass work to watercolour and oils. Some artists listed being top names in the Sheffield art scene; Jason Hepptonstall, Simon Kent, Philip Palmer, Dee Smith and Robin Garside to name a few! The programme will also include circus acts from the university society ‘The Flying Teapots’, live art demonstrations, dance performance by 'Hype Dance Company’, Drama sessions with the opportunity to perform with ‘Curtain Call Performance Group’, jewellery making, live music, pop up cinema, food, graveyard tour and poetry readings with plenty of activities to entertain the children with games and charity raffle provided by ‘Hullabaloobell Charity Events’ All day Saturday and Sunday are free with Friday and Saturday evenings being ticketed meal and Friday night Folk and Saturday night Jazz concerts If your an ARTIST looking to submit work, or a PERFORMER looking for an opportunity to perform then please get in touch !   7. Were very excited that Hullabaloobell Charity Events has been asked to collaborate with the Sheffield's finest Big Band MOJO ! We will be hosting a christmas concert which will be held at the Interval Bar (Sheffield Student Union) which will be free entry ! At the event there will be a raffle with some fabulous prizes, mince pies and mulled wine... The band and venue have kindly offered their services free of charge so 100% money raised will go to the Sheffield Children's Hospital and Charity ! see you there 8pm on Monday 15th Dec at the Interval Bar , Western Bank, Sheffield S10 2TG

Hi, for all you art lovers out there we are hosting an exhibition called 'The Distillation Of Dreams' The launch party is at The Hide (Scotland st) on Thursday (7th) 6:00-9:00pm free entry, wine and canapes ! All money from commisions will be given to the SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT at Jessops and there will be a silent auction. Featuring sheffield artists Phil Palmer, Chris Pepper and Stone face sculptures ... also live music from the Piano Busker and All Hooped Up !
