yes, I went last week, food was pretty good.

I went to one just off Ecclesall Road a white back, it was bizarre! It may lead to new business but you have to be there really early and be able to stand up and talk business for a few hours, not easy first thing on a Friday morning! There's one in Sheffield called BNI.

also, we tried to pop in for a quick drink a few months back, mid-week, and were told we had to pay to get in!? So we pay £4 to get in, for one drink resulting in an expensive half!!! No thank you.

I used to go in Crystal when it first opened, but it has gone downhill and isn't a pleasant place to have a drink. A shame because the interior is very nice, but it's definately a ten-bob millionnaire place!

I've had the same experience, a shame as it used to be a great place to eat.

I would get someone in, we used Speights recently and they were great. Don't use Keetons, they damaged our sofa and then told us they weren't insured! It was a nightmare.

Millhouses cafe is hard to beat. Great breakfasts there, and cakes if you have room left!!

Hallamshire Tennis club on Ecclesall Road is student friendly. May be worth popping in.

I do a run on Sunday mornings from Ecclesall Rd to Forge Damn & back, it's only about 5 miles but very enjoyable. I would love to do the half maratho this year but not doing the distances. I've had this virus for about 4 weeks now and can't get rid, so not great for running!!! Do you think I could train in time?

I like it, a great bar. So what if people wear hats, does it really matter? If it's a nice bar with a good atmosphere, serving great food surely that's a good thing? And no, it's nowt like Crystal, I wouldn't entertain it if it was!
