Parson Cross Community Development Forum will be holding its first ever Farmers Market this Sunday 27th October 10am till 3pm outside the Forum on Margetson Crescent, S5 9NB. There will be a excellent selection of stalls to look around with a range of fresh, seasonal, local produce from the surrounding area. So why not come along and sample some of the delights? We hold a weekly Lunch Club at Parson Cross Community Development Forum, every Wednesday, 12.00pm till 2.00pm. £4.00 for a 2 course meal and the option to take part in other activities. Run by volunteers, all food is freshly prepared and cooked on site. All ages welcome, under 16's to be accompanied by an adult. Parson Cross-Forum are excited to announce that we have been successful in securing a grant from Awards for All to deliver a brand new project to Sheffield ”SILENT WORDS”. This is a pilot project that will improve the lives of people living with Dementia and their carers. We are creating a new group at Parson Cross Forum, offering both an activity for carers and JABADAO a Creative Communication group for the people with Dementia, run by a team of volunteers. The full Project will start in early January 2014 but we are hosting a Modeling Day to showcase what JABADAO is all about for potential volunteers on Monday 4th November 1.00pm till 3.00pm.
