Hello Have the 20 and 20A stopped running? Have waited hours with others. No sign... -
Hello Fairyworld. Glad to see you are not allowing discussion to be stifled. Your report is interesting as it happened in a ward and not an A&E, where a lot of "death-bed" apparitions are reported. If indeed they do occur due to severe trauma death, presumably this was not the case here?
-
Hello Hecate. My reason for reporting incidents is to allow discussion with a view to possibly moving closer to the root of the phenomenon. I certainly do not subscribe to ghosts "per se". My research suggests that something much more complex is involved. In answer to Fairyworld, I feel that not reporting risks pushing the subject back underground. I would ask that you continue to report.

Does anyone have any interesting Ghost Stories?

On the subject of sensitivity to the dead. I have had an experience similar to the one related by Chelle-82. A few years ago, my ex and I were house-hunting in the Bristol area. The house had been owned by a Spaniard who had died there. The house had been altered to the Spanish style, which meant that you had to climb a ladder to get upstairs. After I had climbed the ladder, I moved about a metre into the room and turned round. As I did so, the room darkened and I could see at the right side of the hatch, a dark , fuzzy shape laid in the foetal position which was sorrounded by a purple-blue glow. As I took this in, the ex said something and it all disappeared. I can only think that this was where the owner's body had lain. I knew he had died in the house but not where... -
When I was a lad of 6 at home in Woodseats, I awoke in the early hours to see 5 humanoid shapes stood to the right of my bed. They were about a metre in height and had no facial features except the one second from right, which also appeared to float. I called for my mother and they disapeared. My parents put it down to nightmare. However, the experience gave me an interest in the paranormal which continues to this day.

Thanks BB. I don't remember much more. Everyone rec'd a present from Glyn at the door. Perhaps he could remind us? If others were there, they could perhaps contribute?

On reflection, it was the Memorial Hall.

I was also at the Peter Green concert. I think the backing band was Redhad York from Brighton. I also remember the Buccaneer and you Glyn. I also remember your birthday "happening" at the Oval Hall.

In response to the Peter Green concert, I was there also. The band that backed PG was, I think, Redhead Yorke, who were from Brighton. I also knew the Buccaneer well and I remember you Glyn and your birthday "happening" at the Oval Hall.
