  1. I dont see how it is anyones business, especially men, in telling a woman what she can and can't wear.. That goes for those who make their women wear it and those that don't!

Do something better with your time gentlemen and find a cure for cancer, end poverty, home the homeless or such! Don't worry your lovely heads with womens fashion...

  2. No, I mean haem.

Did you imagine that chickens didn't contain blood? And that's why their meat is white instead of red?

OMG i totally thought they had white blood!! :hihi:

It's a good thing to tax processed meat, it's a good thing to tax meat full stop!

I'm a vegie sooo i'm obvs going to agree with it.

  3. That's a really bizarre post. You're actually agreeing with what boringal said and yet you prefix your comments with 'What do you know? What personal experience have you had?'. Boringal even explains that these are people from her own family.

That said, you both make a fair point which is that not everyone who's an addict fits the stereotype of the junky thief/mugger/shoplifter/mugger.

See post 23 then post 26.. me thinks someone is mocking me

  4. Rubbish!!!! absolute rubbish....

I have had very close members of my family go through drug abuse and they havent once stolen anything from anyone to feed their habit.

    Rubbish!!!! absolute rubbish....

?? What do you know? what personal experience have you had?

Those who i know had full time jobs as construction workers!! they paid for their own drugs!

People are blinkered to think that only those who dont have an income can become addicted to drugs and can't possibly work!!

  5. I was thinking same.

It's totally sick and insensitive, but advertising to the whole world what a complete moron you are seems suitable punishment to me. I imagine some people who would do this kind of thing may even get some kind of sick gratification from being charged. I'd just leave them to their moronic insignificance and let the court of public opinion judge them.

Why does your binary code say Bonsoir Elliott??

Some memebers of the public are beyond help! these chaps definitely skipped the brain/empathy queue...

  6. suddenly hes an addict with a 4.5k a month habit?? really he must have been a druggie beforehand? sorry no sympathy here except whoever gave him the inheritance must be turning over in the grave:roll:

    Hi Dinofan,

Sorry to hear this about your brother, addiction is an awful disease. I hope you find the strength to support him and i hope he finds the strength to fight his addictions. Unfortunately there isnt much you can do, it is entirely up to him to fight his demons and seek help IF/WHEN he wants to x

speaking on personal experience, he needs to see whats happening around him, with his lifestyle having a big effect on his family and friends, while hes got easy money that wont happen, I would suggest get the 40k away from him somehow, the remove any thing of value from your house and his, as he WILL pinch it and WILL sell it, when theres no cash left and nothing to pinch no bank cards to get money from [your bank card not his] then he might start looking at his life,

tough love is the quickest answer I can give, we had the problem for ten years with weed [that people say isn't a problem] my friends son was a drug addict for twenty years before he got straight , and I no more, and there familys all say the same about tough love, you have to do it, its hard but do it and stick to it, basically get him to rock bottom as quick as you can and remember its the drugs you are fighting and not him, the scumbag dealers should live with an addict then theyed probably stop dealing

  8. something called Anna, walked passed a bunch of them on leppings lane this morning.

    ---------- Post added 02-11-2018 at 12:35 ----------

Its a ITV production about the mother of one of the hillsborough disaster victims called Anne Williams, a factual drama.

Apparently they'll be filming from 1pm - 1am??? (according to letter thats been posted to residents on leppings lane)

As it's based in the 1980's theyve asked all the residents if they would be kind enough to move their cars from leppings lane, hence all the older vehicles hanging around.

  9. What we do in the Shadows 8/10

Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi directs and stars with Jemaine Clement in this mockumentary from 2014 following four vampires sharing a house in Wellington, New Zealand.

A hugely funny exploration of the most common vampire tropes, and some killer physical comedy.

An absolutely brilliant mockumentary, watched it a couple of years ago and would be ready to watch it again :hihi:

  10. I loved this film, the bit where she first lays eyes on Yellow Hawk and his family at Bales camp and does that almost silent scream made me get sand in my eyes, quality film throughout with some excellent performances. 9.5/10

Ah yes! that was great

For me though it was when she was burying her family and after scraping at the soil she started to scream and it was that deep gutteral scream of agonising pain that just made the hairs on my entire body stand up! outstanding..

  11. The girl in the shop said that the shop wasn't taking enough to support the post office, so the post office will close, she does not know if the shop is closing, but as I say, its only been bought over in the past couple of months or so, makes no sense. I preferred Spar to the Co-op as it was the smaller of the two so felt it was right to support the smaller shop, but now I'm angry these people have come, sacked all the staff or will be doing and we are losing a vital part of the community.

You are aware that the Spar is a multinational company with it's head office in the netherlands arent you?

Spend your money in the Co-op, or even better in the village stores and the fruit and veg shop...

The size of the shop has nothing to do with whose pockets you are lining.

  12. I liked Sue and Mel on GBBO, I thought they were great on that and I also like Mel on her own but there is just something about Sue that I find unfunny. Her face annoys me..

And to those of you slagging Alan Carr off!! do one chuffnuts!!! He's awesome :P

Are you referring to Sarah Millican? I'm not sure how funny she is because on hearing a South Shields accent, my insides turn to jelly and my discernment flies out of the window.

Sarah Millican is really funny. Very witty and charming.
