  1. Why do you think a child with ADHD needs lobotomising??? bit harsh! Anyway, it was just a general question to see what people thought! i've heard it been mentioned before.. A quick scrape of the brain and ta da, no more functioning.. We could peg feed them, hook them up with a catheter and colostomy bag and let them exist til their dying day laid on a bed staring into space.. It's sort of like a death penalty but without actually killing them!! That'd keep the 'what about his human rights' and 'only godth giveths and taketh awayth' folk AND the pitchfork, pyre building mob happier..
  2. Just go round and introduce yourself and thank them for the welcome card and take it from there. Keep it simple
  3. Anyone seen that post on FB this morning or did anyone listen to capital FM? A woman was interviewed in her car and she says angrily 'I've had to go to Burger King' Hahahahaaaaa hilarious :hihi:
  4. From what i read was, she was alone for five days before she died.
  5. Exactly! She should have been placed in a nursing home or an EMI unit.. Or even at the very least on a pysch ward! It would still be better than allowing her to suffer alone in her final days.. Awful
  6. Well Really we don't need a god.. What people do need is comfort and to most that means believing in some made up diety to help them get through life and not die in fear of there being nothing after this life..
  7. Absolutely NO excuse! Yes i bet it's unpleasant having to take abuse from terminally ill people but there is no excuse in the UK for anyone to die because of lack of care! None....
  8. Yummy!! Also Zara's at Crookes.. Been going there for years and never fail to impress And also butlers (forgot what road it is on) quite pricey as far as indian cuisine goes but very very nice..
  9. That's awful! No one should have to die like that.. Shame on those who had the power to do something about this.
  10. You are right, they could BUT not all kids have bikes, especially from the lower income backgrounds.. This makes it more accessible.. Also, if you already have a bike, why are you using the OFO ones?
  11. Since having my daughter I wear clothes until the only thing they're useful for is wiping the toilet bowl with.. I am no longer the fashionista i once was! My dauther on the other hand doesnt wear the same piece of clothing in a week! including her jeans!!!!!!!!!! what?? I get AT LEAST a 5 days of wear out of my jeans before i wash them..
  12. They need a more fool proof way of being able to use them then.. What that is, i dont know but you can't be having kids riding about like them i saw last night.. It's dangerous, and some teenage lads lack sense!! it's an accident waiting to happen.. Suppose they're waiting for the first kid to be squished under the wheels of a lorry before they take action.
  13. AGAIN..... The ambulance staff didnt contact the police! The issue was raised by members of the public after seeing a post about it on social media.. There was that much uproar that the police HAD to be seen to take action.
  14. I personally declare war on men..... Come on ladies! We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in Jobs, we shall fight in the pubs and football stadiums, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in our hair, we shall defend our rights, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight in the home, we shall fight on the landing (outside the toilet), we shall fight in the garden and in the streets, we shall fight in the kitchen; we shall never surrender Love you really men
  15. Saw three being rode last night, they came pelting out of KFC car park onto bradfield road during rush hour traffic.. All young lads and one was giving a piggy back ride to a small lad about 10/11! all in dark clothes and not one wearing a helmet weaving in and out of traffic.. Hate to sound like the voice of doom but isnt this an accident waiting to happen? Is this what was intended when they set this scheme up? Isnt there age restrictions? So in order to download the app you have to prove your age with a credit card in your name or something??
  16. It wasnt the ambulance crew that complained, the police picked up on it after it went viral on social media. ---------- Post added 20-02-2018 at 09:56 ---------- Some folk are unbelievable!! You guys saying you can see why she'd be miffed!! WHAT??.... I'd welcome an emergency vehicle on my drive if it meant they could get closer to their intended patient and save a life! I'd move my car so they could fit on my drive if i had to!! And those of you moaning about the ambulance crew! Dont go slagging them off until you really know what their day in day out job really entails.. They have to pick pieces of people up off of the road in a RTA. Whilst everyone else runs away from danger, they run in to it to save lives. They save lives on a daily basis and they earn a pittance for it and whilst they are the true heroes in most emergency situations, it's the doctors who get the pat on the back!! Have some respect for our emergency service personnel please.. I couldnt do their job!
  17. Stupid, selfish woman! Notice how she put van and not ambulance?! She probably couldnt spell it..
  18. I like the idea of being woken up in the morning by a bagpipe playing out a lovely traditional tune.. My current wake up call is the sound of my partners bowl movements....
  19. Sounds to me like a really really bad chat up line!
  20. As long as you know your measurments i'm sure you'll be fine You can always send them back and get a refund if they dont fit..
