  1. Oh and the other thing about london is you can drive for hours and hours and still be in London. I don't know about you but that makes me feel a little claustrophobic [/b] Ha ha! You can enter, but you can never leave!
  2. Wow, have been off line for a while and didn’t expect such a response! Thanks everyone that posted, it has all been very useful. You are selling Sheffield well!!! I am still not sure what I am going to do yet, am still a London Girl and am currently living in Lewisham. I agree with those of you who say that London is a bit on the dirty side, you certainly notice the difference in air quality once you leave! However, saying that, I will really miss the place if I leave, then that is to be expected since I have never left the place in all my 24 years! There are some areas of London that are just beautiful, i.e., Covent Garden, Greenwich, and Notting Hill. Camden is also pretty cool for shopping as it has a great market. The parks are fantastic, it doesn’t actually feel like you are in the middle of a huge city. Some of the views are amazing too, there is a point in Greenwich Park where you look over and can see so much of the city, at night it is just stunning as is the Waterloo area where the London eye is. Anyway, as much as I have built the place up there, I would still move. It is impossible to think I would ever be able to afford to buy a bed sit in London, let alone a house! Thanks again to everyone for your feedback, you have definitely given me more to consider. I have been to Sheffield a couple of times, and I did really like it there. Have yet to visit the Peak District though, will have to do that next time I go I think! Love London Girl
  3. Hello! I am new! Hope everyone is well. Subject says it all pretty much. I am a Londoner, always have been, but currently thinking about moving. So, anyone here lived in both London and Sheffield? Which city do you prefer and why? Cheers!
