No point for us expatriates either.

Why offer a prize that can only be spent in Sheffield?

Lots of members like myself still look in regularly to keep in touch with our home city news.

I ain’t spending 50 quid in diesel driving 200 miles from Wales to spend a voucher worth...£50.

You can always gift as a xmas/birthday present to a colleague/friend/relative you don't like.

  2. Found on Facebook

If any over 70s are struggling for their bread from the supermarkets etc, please give us a call on 01142396019 with a days notice and you can come and collect freshly baked bread and/or bread cakes free of charge. Collection is Birley Moor Bakery, on Birley Moor Rd.
We will do everything we can to help out our community and people in need at this worrying time.

EDIT- we have recieved a few messages from people under 70 who are wanting to order bread at our regular prices, we are happy to take your bread orders on the number provided and collection will be available from either our store at Birley or our bakery in Handsworth (01142699261). While we cannot offer free bread to everybody, we can guarantee a plentiful supply of our fresh bread while avoiding the hustle and bustle of the supermarkets. Thanks

  3. ...and is it fair as in it is there are no restrictions and is that policy working? Or is it being abused by some people who are on the phone far too much because it is not strict? Or are you not allowed phones at all outside dinner / break time?

I'm trying to get an idea of what best / fair / working. I guess it down to what industry you work in too given if you are serving customers the last thing they need to see is you taking a phone call instead of serving them in a shop for example.

  4. Businesses will not now be mandated to use the Making Tax Digital for Business system until April 2019 and then only to meet their VAT obligations. This will apply to businesses who have a turnover above the VAT threshold - the smallest businesses will not be required to use the system, although they can choose to do so voluntarily.
