You should try the red deer, they normally have music on a Saturday and I think some folky stuff on a Monday

The tuesday pub quiz at The Red Deer is by far and away the best i've ever been to, consisting of mainly general knowledge q's, a picture round and a creative round. Would probs say reserve a table if there's more than 4 of you cos it tends to get full very quickly
