  1. Dead battery (not just flat, wouldn't charge back up at all, for some reason). Lehm called it.
  2. The 28 Days Later soundtrack is superb!
  3. The school are within their rights to forbid you to take photos, so I would imagine that they are within their rights to restrict your use of any photos you do take, and that it probably is legally binding. Regardless of the legality, if the photos were posted, then it's unlikely that the school would allow any photos in future. IANAL, etc.
  4. I got a great deal on my last one from Top Tread Tyres in Rotherham. Cost about £25, and seemed to do a good job. Obviously, that means trekking over to Rotherham though. The good news is if they do need to keep it in overnight, it's a three minute walk from the train station
  5. As above for a basic check, for an enhanced check, you need to have a company/governmental establishment support you for it, as they're generally not transferable between jobs. (They can be released, but they are specific for job titles etc.)
  6. Thanks for the tips, I'll check them out next time I'm planning on having some coffee!
  7. Looking for a good café with nice coffees and maybe some cakes not too far from Broomhill. Remo's is lovely, but the missus doesn't like it. Cream is pricey and looks like the BHS café, and that internet café (Refresh) is a bit dark and dingy inside. Not looking to walk too far, but up into Crookes, or down to Eccy road would be fine. Any suggestions?
  8. Good point - I'd not really though that through! What would you suggest? Where should I redirect to?
  9. I have complied with it on my site: http://www.joesbigtoe.co.uk I don't think it'll cause any problems, but we shall see.
  10. If I'm not very mistaken, then this is actually a quote from Stanley Kubrick's excellent Dr. Strangelove (Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb)
  11. I may be wrong, but if he's a contractor, then there's probably nothing he could do even if you were parked right in his line of fire. Don't take that as legal advice, but I'm fairly confident you'd be able to argue the toss.
  12. Even if he was on the radio to a parking womble, there's nothing they can do now you're gone, even if you weren't parked legally, and they had photographic evidence.
