What you don't seem to be aware of is that the promise of "Cradle to Grave" was made to the elderly who make up the bulk of care home residents starting way back in the late forties, these people paid into that system all their working lives, they wished to see the results of their hard work go to benefit their offspring and not being robbed to pay for the care that they were promised way back. If They're not going to be given the care they've paid for they should be refunded with interest.
