  1. Can anyone recommend a joiner to fit a new kitchen MDF top as well as stop a small leak in the roof tiles, the tiles look good from the outside, and can get to the understand easily from inside the house, some sealing form or something of that type I think will do this job, so I have been told. Thanks
  2. Can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonable priced plumber to fix a toilet that will no longer flush in Sheffield S8, my plumber I use is no longer around and I few I have used in the past are all booked up for weeks. Thanks
  3. Look for 2 seats going to the game, live Dore side of Sheffield. Please let me know. Thanks PS Shame about today, Ref let us down.
  4. I look at it this way, when you play golf, your club will not stop just past the ball, no power that way, you hit throw the ball, same here, you hit throw the person, you do not try and hit his nose, but the back of his head, it just happens to be in the way. What many other styles do, is for you to hit the nose, they have a focal point for power, so if you are off a little bit you lose most of the power, not with WT, full power and more than the other way. One top of that we chain punch, so not one hit, but 10 per second (some do 15) all in the same spot, or when better at many key points on someone. Where do you think Brucie Lee 1 inch punch comes from WT (some say WC so will take that part with a pinch of salt, they were 90% the same back then, no one truly knows)
  5. Yes. It is banded from MMA, as when we fight it is all over in 2/3 seconds, not good for something that has rules, we have no rules. One of the top WT men (I do not know his name) has said he will fight any MMA out of the cage with WT (no rules) no one will go near him..... why is that? German Elite Army are fully trained in WT and for good reason. MMA is about fighting on the floor, by that time it is to late in the real world. Great to watch and the skill involve is amazing, but not next to someone with the same commitment in WT I have done a few other fighting skills (Like GRK) and they hold nothing next to WT, it truly opened up my eyes, I was just lucky to fall on it.
  6. Nothing awkward at all, just getting ready to move home, lots to do. Empty space is to be attacked yes. Never give up ground, Always go towards the person's middle. If they leave a gap (space) between them and a target on the body then attract it, even better the space behind them. We do not hit a space on a body, but along a line, so even a inch punch will do big damage if you are hitting behind them. As far as I know WT is the only martial art that trains you to fight all other martial art as well as street fighting (and also win in court if it get's there) Not that I would have that problem in Thailand, or had any fights here for that matter. I do not want to fight, just know how to if I must one day.
  7. As I said I am not at that level only been doing it a few years, but seen it here many times. WT is NOT a self defense martial art, we do not defend we attack any space given, we do not fight force with force as at some point someone will always be stronger than you, we use their force against them. Yes I think you are right it was developed by Leung Ting a former student of Yip Man.
  8. WT would win every time, with two people having trained for the same amount of time. Also I am moving back from Thailand, and kickboxing gets no where near to it at all. I am not at that level yet, but mates are, and not seen any kick-boxer get near, and the Thai do try as they hate to lose face.
  9. Put it this way, Wing Tsun came before Wing Chun, and many things were changed when someone started Wing Chun and commercialized it, it is not as good and missing many of key elements of the WT style of fighting, both are very good, but in my view WC is second rate to WT, as anyone that has done both will tell you. It is like taking a mercedes car and turning it into a Ford.
  10. I have been doing Wing Tsun for 2 years now.
  11. Hi I have been out of Sheffield for some time, and about to get back in a few weeks, and wanting to keep doing Wing Tsun, anyone know of somewhere in or around Sheffield where I can keep training. Please note Wing Tsun NOT Wing Chun
  12. HI, what type of house are you after, as I am having the same problem from the other side, I have yet to find a web site that will let me rent out my home with out going throw an agent as I have in the past. I have a very nice home in Sheffield, 2 bedroom (3 as the loft has been converted) in Sheffield S8. When I lived there I had 3 vans parked outside, so good for parking.
