  1. I still do have it for breakfast (except weekends when it's a fry-up) Got to keep those cholesterol levels up !!!!
  2. There were 2 Carolines. The story is well documented on the internet, but here's a quick resume. Easter 1964 and Radio Caroline comes on air (from the MV Caroline) shortly followed by Radio Atlanta (from the MV Mi Amigo). A merger of the 2 companies took place and the Mi Amigo stayed where it was and was renamed Caroline South. The MV Caroline sailed around the coast - broadcasting as she went - and took up anchorage in Ramsey Bay, Isle of Mann, and was renamed Caroline North, thus giving the Caroline organisation national coverage. And the rest, as they say, is history.
  3. The Music Mann project went t**s up before getting on air. Radio Caroline celebrated 44 years of broadcasting on Easter Sunday. Now an Internet station, it's also available on SKY 0199 I listen to it on weekday mornings as they don't have DJs on until 7.00 am I put it on around 6.15 until about 6.55 It's great to here music and not the inane rattlings of Daryl Denim. Now there is a man who likes the sound of his own voice.
  4. Utah. I've found it. Better late than never. The music you asked about is: South American Getaway - Burt Baccarach
  5. There's one thing, it's got to be better than Marmite. (Anything's better than Marmite) Just checked the fridge and YESSS. Mrs P has fetched a tub of dripping in for me from the market......excellent......
  6. I see the rumour-mongers are out in force already. Be best to concentrate on when the Owls will go into administration. Or maybe just go and have a holiday.
  7. Mrs P always gets me a tub from the cooked meats stall in the market, and always asks for a "mucky" one. I have it for breakfast almost every weekday. Fry-up at weekends. Beautiful, and keeps you going 'till lunchtime.
  8. Diane Bingham still lives on the Valley near the Gaunt shops. I often see her on a Sunday in the Queens Rd club.
  9. I think it is an OUTSTANDING appointment. Taking a club heading for relegation to the brink of the playoffs is a briiliant achievement in such a short time. Pity it didn't come sooner in my eyes.
  10. The "fly" in the ointment at the top is Ipswich. Very unpredictable. It's going to be a very interesting Sunday afternoon at both ends of the table and I suspect there will be more twists and turns than a spy novel.
  11. The light at the end of the tunnel is still ON
  12. It may be a honeymoon period, long may it continue. Sornob was quoted as saying that the Sheffield Derby game was just another game ....... shows how much he knew about football in this area..... Good riddance to bad rubbish.
  13. In the words of the song :- Keeping The Dream Alive Or the now infamous quote :- "It's a funny old game, Saint"
  14. All the existing areas at the Hospital where I work are cabled in cat5 UTP. This seems to run the data network without any problems.
  15. I'm looking to update the maps on my F20. I looked on the Navman website, but it was useless, as it doesn't tell you anywhere on it wether it is even possible. The only things it seems to want to sell me are European maps on an SD card. I don't want other maps, just one with later roads on it so it doesn't think I'm driving through fields etc. , 'cos it doesn't half get annoyed when you do things like that ( no, I have NOT got a 4x4). Has anyone updated one of these, and if so, how.
  16. M (aged) 10 ..... 42 posts on 42 different threads says it all
  17. The "All time points record" was penned by someone who had forgotten to add the "Robbo factor" into the equation......
  18. Not if you come on here..... some kind friend is bound to tell you You beat me to it CB
  19. Robbo should have gone a LOT earlier (say about the end of August), then we would almost certainly been in the playoffs.
  20. Now you're REALLY clutching at staws. Blackwell could make himself a local legend by losing ONE game. Think about it.
  21. Twitchy bottom time my little pink chums Love it !!!!!! :D:D
  22. I had a strange one with my Vista laptop to Lexmark printer... I have found that my Advent 7113 has 3 USB ports, 2 on Left and 1 on right. If I plug the printer into the right hand one it works OK but "hangs" if I try it in either of the 2 on the left. Don't know if this is any help in your case, but you never know.
  23. I have been using Wavepad from NCH software. Absolutely superb, and will convert and edit most types of music (I used it to edit bits of music, convert it to MP3 and download it to my phone, hey presto, free ring tones !!!! )
  24. Hey this mobile broadband is brilliant. Although down at Skeggy for the weekend (yes it has snowed and it's b cold), its great to be able to get the commentry on via Bladesworld. What a great result for the lads and now only 6 points short of the playoffs. Oh how I wish our chairman had sacked Robbo earlier ( say about end of August) and who knows where we might be now. Onwards and Upwards - keep it going - and who knows.
