  1. We have 5 adult chi and a pug, they are so well behaved its great our family just keeps growing
  2. I like the idea of a set menu for each day, that will take the pressure off having to decide and make things a lot easier xxjojaxx im wondering if thats how it started by us actualy asking them what they want! Lorri It seems you understand how im starting to feel after 30 years it gets to be a bit of a drag I wonder what would happen if us mum/dad cooks went on strike for a week, would anyone have the brains to take over or would starvation set in
  3. Why is it mums always have to decide whats for dinner? Thinking about it further how many times in a lifetime do you actualy hear those words or ones very similar? Wouldnt it be great to hear "dinners ready in 10 mins" Im not a great lover of take away food because i like to see what actualy goes into it, but im curious how many mums and dads are always left to do the cooking at home
  4. with mine it was what i call making & doin things crafty things, glitter, beads, pva glue, pom-pom animals used to spend hours (quietly) making things
  5. Daughter had the same problem when she used them, ended up with blisters, she even tried putting bandages around her hands, might have worked but the damage was already done by then we found the redcross to be great for free use of a wheelchair, they also loan other things too http://www.redcross.org.uk/localservice.asp?id=753
  6. Since my last post yesterday ive done nothing but think about what i would do and it seems my first day would be wasted because i cant make my mind up.
  7. if you want to put them up yourself dunelm are good for quality and price their vertical blinds have metal top rails where a lot tend to be plastic
  8. if you just want floor space try your local village hall, you can hire them for peanuts. Best way to find how much and where is to contact your local councilor or the church
  9. i feel sick after reading this just cant understand how a parent can do this
  10. As Auto said when was the last time that bolier was checked for safety? All land lords have to have them checked every 12 months by law and if it is not done they can be taken to court. Trading standards might be able to help you and enviromental health. If the boiller has been checked there will be a sticker on it giving a date of the last check with a company name with a signiture.
  11. well said John perhaps a belt to hold their jeans up is another good idea
  12. OMG i never laughed so much in my life If this is real and not a prank you have the option on ebay to request his contact details (including his address). If i was you i would go visit the guy and confront him face to nuts (oops that was a typo, should have been face to face)
  13. My grand daughter is now almost 5 months and will only sleep an hour if not swaddled, her mum (my daughter) was the same. Look at it this way, when she is ready for no more ravioli time she will escape and thats the time to stop.
  14. i registered with TPS years ago and its great If i ever get the odd sales call which is very rare now i just say " have you ever heard of the telephone preferance service" and they swiftly say sorry and hang up http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/ MPS is another good one http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/mpsr/ they are all free to register
