  1. Do we know if it would be possible to run XP on this laptop? http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=352267
  2. Thanks for the information, Ideally I'd like a circular walk... Any terrain will be fine as it's training for both the Yorkshire and National 3 Peaks.
  3. Afternoon all, Can anyone suggest a route for a nice steady 12 to 15 mile walk in and around the Peak District? Preferably not the Bakewell area as we have a 20 miler down there in about 3 weeks so don't really want to cover the same ground. I appreciate any help you can offer. Cheers, Marc Also, while out on Higger Tor / Carl Walk yesterday we came across several fresh sheep carcasses that were immaculately stripped down to the bone, no blood or guts just clean bones and stripped fleece but with there heads intact and untouched... An idea what's eating them? It looked far to clinical to be dogs or foxes.
  4. Afternoon all, Does anyone know it these is a path between the back of the Fox House and Higger Tor rather than having to walk down the Hathersage Road to bridge bend? I'm taking a group of people out there this weekend and want to avoid the main road if possible. Cheers, Pobby

  7. Do you know of any independent mobile phone retails in Sheffield or are you a mobile dealer? If so can you let me know the name of the shop and the area... I'm looking to promote a new 'Guaranteed mobile contract' scheme via outlets in Sheffield. MODS - I'm not offering this service on here so it's not a business sales ad... I'm just looking for information on retails in Sheffield. I hope you can leave this thread on.

  11. I agree with Abbeydale Park, it's a good effort....
  12. Thanks for that... I cancelled about 6 months ago when the box backed in, I've kept the viewing card so hopefully I'll be able to get the Free Sat channels.
  13. I'm not sure if this is the right section to post in but here goes... I used to have Sky+ but the box died on me, I've managed to get my hands on a replacement box but it is a standard Sky box. Does anyone know if his will plug straight in or will I need some sort of adapter or alteration to make it work? Cheers, Pobby
