  1. Sheffield Cat Shelter will take your donations. Located at 1 Travis Place Broomhall. Drop off between 9.30 -3.30. They're ok to take everything except electrical items & large furniture.
  2. Yup! They always need stuff! Donations can be taken to the Cat Shelter at 1 Travis Place, Broomhall any day between 9.30 & 3.30 ish. They would like donations of jewellery, dvds (not videos), books, childrens toys, bric a brac, unwanted boxed gifts for tombola prizes. ANY clothes or textiles ie bedding, blankets, curtains, towels in good or bad condition (if not so good they recycle) No duvets, pillows, cushions or carpet though. Sorry, no electrical items or large furniture. Items are also sold on Ebay & books on Amazon via their website. Go on..have a clear out!
  3. Few drops Bach Rescue Remedy in water is good for calming nervous kitties. Or use Feliway plug in device. Catnip toys prove irresistable to hideaway kitties. Just leave them in the room with her. Try a large cardboard box for puss to hide in & cut out a hole big enough for you to gently tickle kitty through it without scaring her too much. Chicken! Chicken! Chicken! It never fails! Give her titbits of chicken each time she takes a brave step out. Be patient & she will come round.
  4. The Sheffield Cats Shelter is holding an Easter Open Day & Yard Sale on Sunday April 1st. Come in & cuddle the cats for £1.00 entry fee. 12.00 -3.00. Refreshments available. Free admission to the Yard Sale 11.00 -3.00. 1 Travis Place Broomhall.

  6. You must call The Sheffield Cats Shelter asap. 2724441 between 1.00 & 3.30 These cats sound at risk & will be made a priority for admission as they are homeless & vulnerable.
  7. Definately call the Sheffield Cats Shelter 2724441 between 1.00 & 3.30. They will help if they have space. If not right away they will get back to you cos they work hard to get the most desperate ones in off the streets.
