They not expensive ? Someones got money to burn then. Looking on the apple website these are the cheapest available of each mac. Macbook air: £849 Macbook pro: £999 Mac mini: £499 Imac: £1,149 Mac pro: £2,499 Hardly cheap are they considering you can pic up laptops and pc's for as little as £250.

If your coming from windows, a mac will be very difficult for you to use. To be honest, if your not going to use it for video, photo or music editing then it's pointless you getting one. There's not much you will be able to use it for. You will just end up doing on it what you already do on your windows. And as you will know, macs are not cheap at all so it will be a big expensive mistake buying one just to use it the same.

the sharpness, detail and colour of pictures taken with my phone are unbelievable. the Z1 also has slow motion video aswel as HDR. the Z1 can also can be handled with one hand whilst taking photos and videos. it really is a fantastic camera. i took a picture of my dog and the detail of his fur is brilliant.

of course theres a point to having a camera like that. it takes very clear, sharp and vibrant pictures. and no i bought it due to customer satisfaction and ratings aswel as its good looks, performance, usability and customisability that you get with the android OS. you know the Z1 is the better phone compared to the iphone but you just dont want to accept and just want to try make me look stupid.

yes i did pay that much for a sony logo. because it can do more than the iphone and it is miles better speced than a iphone. some of the Z1 specs are: 5" full hd display Quad-Core 2.2 GHz CPU 2GB of RAM 20.7MP camera waterproof dont try tell me the Z1 isn't worth the money and that the iphone is better than the Z1. i even had a friend that was suprised of the specs compared to his iphone 5s and he even thought of getting a Z1. people buy iphones to either copy their friends or just because everyone swears by them or just as a fashion accessory.

Iphones are just too overpriced for what they are, you are just paying for that apple logo. All my friends have iphones and to be honest with you i dont know what the attraction is because they dont do anything special with it, they do what you can do with android which is text, call and go on facebook. So why pay the price to do that? I have always prefered the freedom of android. As for those that conplain about viruses for android, you need to look at what sites you are actually visiting because i have never had a virus what so ever. As for build quality, yes iphones may feel as strong as a brick but with all that solid material, there is nothing soft and flexible to absorb shock from a drop, so when you drop a iphone, the first thing to go is the screen. Everyone i know with an iphone has smashed their screen from 1 little drop. My £200 HTC One SV pee'd all over the iphone. I now have a sony xperia z1 and have to say what a.cracking phone, it has the solid build quality like the ipone with the glass back and guess what, the screen hasnt smashed when i have dropped it. And believe me i have dropped it too many times. And yes my Z1 did cost me £569 but.was so worth it at the side of the iphone. It came with a free sony smartwatch 2 which to be honest is rubbish. I dont see the point in these smartwatches, it annoyed me because it vibrates every 2 seconds from people posting on facebook. Oh and as for samsung phones, why are people talking about them? Because they are rubish, everyone i know that has a samsung galaxy phone has complained about it. Samsung phones feel cheap. Go with HTC or sony. Or the nexus range.

Thank you, it is only the thought of money and 3 people i work with there that are keeping me on there and stopping me going insane. The 3 mentioned workmates turn a depressing shift into a funny shift. We have quite a laugh and is the only thing to keep us going. Im going to get a application form and go for perminent there and work for pennines to get off that horrible agency.

Forgot all about this thread. I eventually found work by myself because a4e was useless. I attended a4e last august where they sent me on what they said was training course with staffline agency where we listened to a bloke talk rubbish, we then did maths and english tests and a food hygine test to get level 2. They said they would send the certificate and test results by post and get me a induction to work at pennine foods. Come october i still hadn't heard heard anything back. From the rest of august and all through september i made endless amounts of phone calls to some useless woman at a4e where i never ever got through to her, i just got some other woman telling me she would get her to sort it out and contact me. Still never heard from her. My adviser was useless as he said he would get her to sort it. In the end come october i got fed up and phoned pennines myself where they put me through to staffline agency and was told to attend an induction the next day. Attended the induction and on that same day they wanted me to start work that very night. So come october 23rd i have been working nights there. To be honest evem though it is work, i have to admit i wouldn't recomend working there to my worst enemy. The agency are so rude and nasty it is unreal. They talk to you like rubbish and mess you about something rotten. I signed a contract to work sunday to thursday night shifts 10pm - 6am, but they made us work friday nights with just saturday off and threatened to only give us 2 or 3 days a week work if we did not work weekends. They changed our contracts without asking us to re sign them. Starting at pennines was the worst thing i have ever done in my life. It seems all a4e want to do is chuck everyone on to pennine foods so they dont have to put any effort into their jobs and make their lifes easy. In my case i had to do it myself but the point is they made me set my mind on getting a job at pennines. If anyone is attending a4e and they mention pennine foods, get ready, your in for a depressing life where you never get any time to do anything or even see familly or friends. Yes it maybe a job but it is extremely sad that we have to go about life this way.

When i got my Sony MDR-XB300's i read a lot of reviews for them and i stumbled upon many youtube review videos for them where people compared them to beats headphones. And all of them said the sonys had far better crisp and clear sound, and these sonys only cost.£29.99 and they look a lot more to them than the skinny beats.

Many people have successfuly ran a 7200RPM hdd with no issues at all. Its just one of them do it at your own risk kinda things. I have a 12GB super slim, used my 500GB hdd out of my old fat ps3 and i have to say i havent even half filled it yet.

I i think its because people cant be arsed to get up and jump around the room to play a game. Gaming is all about lazing about on the settee or in a chair with a controller and just button bashing. Give it 20 mins of bouncing about and your fed up.

I still cant help but laugh at the advertising all those years ago from sega which said something along the lines of "sega does what nintendon't". And where is sega at now compared to nintendo lol. Its a real shame how it went for sega because megadrive and the snes was pure monster machines.

the boxes are fit for the bin, but theres no reason why you cant take the hard drives out, stick them in a external caddy and use them.

as far as i am aware, you can only use an external hdd to backup gamesaves, videos, pictures & music etc. the ps3 system will not save games to the ext hdd by default, it will not store downloaded content, games or demos on it either. but like i say, its only handy for backups or storing your media on for playback so that you dont have to store it on your internal hdd.

I dont know why people bother these days with cheap fireworks. You get a box for like £30 and all they do is shower the ground in sparks for 2 seconds and thats it. The only thing you get for your money is a lot of smoke.

I was on the 20 this morning and couldn't believe how squeeky everything was on it. Every window was rattling and i was amazed at how much the bus flexed when going round corners. Was on the 20 monday morning and water was dripping like mad from the roof and running down to the front of the bus.

A quick once over with a wet vac will sort that out. The 20's just always seen to smell damp and fusty. I think they need a airwick.

no, they very rarely invest in new buses either. i dont think they invest in cleaning them too. the number 20's always smell horrible and fusty. the seats are always stained brown too. puzzles me why first buses are so expensive with fares with the state of them. the only plus side to a first bus is the drivers drive quicker and theres leg room
