I'm not familiar with the area (I'm from and live in Nottingham). Did it have much of an impact when it was originally built?

We have heard that there are currently roadworks on Meadowhead whilst the Council remove the traffic lights/bus filter lane which was introduced a few years ago for a rather large sum. Does anyone think that the lane was an unnecessary spend? And how do you think the roadworks traffic management is coping? We've heard some negative things thus far!

Just the sort of thing we're looking for! Is there another post on this somewhere on the forum ?

For one, I take offence to being included in a "rash", there is no need for harsh words. I was merely asking people for input in helping with our group project. You obviously don't agree and don't want to help...so don't. This is the last time I aim to reply to you. As for the people who are actually helping. It's very much appreciated!!

And you are the type of person we tend to avoid. We are simply doing as we have been instructed by our lecturers (who are experienced journalists). You've got your back up ... for no particular reason to be honest. Jeff posted about the Gazelle earlier and this has opened up leads we didn't know about, which shows how SF SHOULD work. People helping other people. And we are grateful for it.

I mistyped. I meant to say "post in this part of the forum". I really don't understand why you're being so defensive. Isn't a blog supposed to be an "online community"? Would you rather no-one take an interest?

I understand your point completely. But I started a music blog last year with no intention of carrying it on. I now get 3000 views a week and I'm planning on turning it into a multimedia thing. So who knows?....

We're not asking for you to "do our homework for us". We're merely stating that if someone has any news then feel free to post in our blogs. Obviously we're going to be doign our own investigative research etc. Is there any harm in asking the target audience for their views? Especially when it's what we've been told to do?
