Young Busker in Sheffield
TrashyBlonde replied to jasonbennett's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I had to stop and listen to a young blonde haired girl busker singing Alanis Morrisette songs on the corner of the road that leads up to the town hall from the crucible (sorry ! new to Sheffield) outside the building society. She was fantastic and her guitar playing was equally as good. I gave her £5 for her rendition of 'Ironic' which blew me away. Seems there are some really talented up and coming musicians in Sheffield to look out for. -

I don't like the traditional jazz thing but I do love Jazz/salsa fusion. One of my favourite tracks by far is John Klemmer, Brazilia

Did someone mention Moi ? MrMoran you have said nothing to remotely upset or shock me (I have heard far worse) What does 'tick' me off though is when people do things that affect you without even explaining their actions. That is lower than a snakes belly Are you still up for Sunday night MrMoran ? I hope that you are not all shirt and no trousers

The Sun gets 110.000 Quatada petition
TrashyBlonde replied to hard2miss's topic in General Discussions
"As a preacher in London mosques, Abu Qatada soon gained a militant following. In 1999, he allegedly sought to justify the killing of Jews, including children, and attacking Americans. Three days after 9/11, Abu Qatada preached that the attacks were part of a global struggle between Christianity and Islam, and were a response to America's unjust policies. In another sermon, he sought to justify the killing by a Muslim of a "non-believer" for the sake of Islam. At the same time, Abu Qatada ran a magazine called Al Ansar, which supported jihadists in Algeria at a time when the Armed Islamic Group of Algeria was waging a brutal campaign of massacres and assassinations". -
Why, thankyou ukdobby. It is a really nice beer as it goes.

I dread the ravages of time and try my best to keep them at bay by jogging and going to the gym twice a week.
