  1. Yes Ruby, certain references in that post are directly related to the subject of ERS/HSD.
  2. Like I said DB I seen some of your posts. You seem like a pretty decent intelligent lad Nice to meet you both:thumbsup:
  3. Yeah admittedly Dawny misfires can be a danger as these things can travel hundreds of yards but at that time in the morning you will be ok. You could decrease the distance and increase the kinetic energy by using big bore monsters like cherry balsams.
  4. I dont want to you lightweight. I have looked at some of your posts and I am surprised at your response but I am sure you make Sheffield well proud. Like you I post where I want when I want and its up to the mods to say otherwise. The lad was simply saying hello to us all, if you want to slag him off you start a new thread moron. Sheffrapper you will find plenty of people like this on established forums, all waiting in the wings to pounce on new users. Welcome to sheffield forum
  5. Eminem a rapper...thats a wholly innacurate allegation. You must be quoting Dr Dre when you said "You can't rap and you sound like a plum", because I bet those were his exact words until he saw an opening in the lucrative 12/14 year old record buyers market.
  6. Best thing is, if the neighbours report you to the police you can always say your just speed feeding them. The catapult/confectionery combo is also great for use against nuisance cats and is without a doubt more fun than any X-box or PS2 game.
  7. Police appear to "prat" around in every aspect of their work nowadays. Why should armed confrontations be any different.
  8. I have found that a hunting catapult firing either mint imperials or aniseed balls is ideal. Consider it an enviromentally friendly biodegradeable weapon. I have chronographed aniseed balls and they can top 200mph Mint imperials are good for rough shooting but lack the velocity and and accuracy of aniseed balls. I class mint imperials as more of a scarer whereas the aniseed ball is more of a precision tool. Also due to their ovalised form, mint imperials have a tendency veer violently of course.Whereas aniseed balls with their flatter trajectory seem many times more accurate. Also mint imperials are white and attract unwanted attention whereas aniseed balls are more stealthy due to their dark red colour. If this fails then get up early and feed them with bread covered in deep heat cream. OK so I have way to much time on my hands.
  9. Revenge as far as I am concerned is sweet The art is not letting your mark know it was you that nailed em. You dont want to enter into a tit for tat exchange that hurts yourself.
  10. I was a pistol shooter and shotgun owner for years and have plenty of experience with firearms in club shooting and hunting and I am well aware of what these weapons can do. In an open space like the one this man was shot in, with ample time to calculate and compensate for missed or pass through projectiles hitting bystanders and at the distances involved I am sure these officers could have wounded rather than killed him. I have read stories in the papers of how police officers have shot suspects in very questionable circumstances. Not so long ago one man was shot whilst he was in bed with his girlfriend. Admittedly PCP would change a suspects threshold to pain but I have yet to hear of one shooting victim in this country who had tested positive to Phencyclidine. As for baton rounds, I have seen these beasts and seen what they can do and I would be surprised if he could retain any sense of composure after being hit with them. If I was the officer involved I would have first used CS gas on this individual and not bullets, afterall he had a sword not a firearm. CS gas can hit its mark from a safe distance, even on someone weilding a sword. Of course its all different when your there in what I have no doubt is an extremely stressfull and frightening situation for all involved. Unless he is naked you have no idea what he has secreted about his person. Its a hard job for anyone and I guess its easy for me to say its overkill or their trigger happy.
  11. Sorry Louise I new I shoulda tidied the place up before I moved out Any way I left them there so you didnt have to suffer the horror and degradation of ERS.
  12. In a recent study by Professor Antonio Benedetti on the Gladiators of ancient Rome, evidence found at the Roman coliseum suggests the gladiators regularly suffered from ERS and if they were fortunate HSD. Samples collected even pointed to definate occurences of ALC. However the presence of ALC in the actual arena of the coliseum may have been attributed to the presence of Lions and not to the general emptyness of the structure.
  13. Dont forget Avalon...Sufferers of ERS can alleviate the problem by adopting the method of ALC before they enter the room. This then allows you to conduct your tour of the property without worrying about ICP.
  14. TracieJC..I believe Trevers avatar is in fact the enlarged saclike portion of the alimentary canal, one of the principal organs of digestion, located in vertebrates between the esophagus and the small intestine. In this case however it appears to be protuberant.
  15. I can assure you ERS and HSD are both very real conditions that arise from a combination of stimuli applied to the sensory apparatus resulting in a physical manifestation known as ICP.
  16. In Vietnam the The People's Liberation Armed Forces (PLAF) more popularly known as the Viet Cong (VC) regularly suffered from HSD and had to resort to ALC to allieviate ICP. American soldiers also suffered from ICP but for altogether different reasons. Apparently American soldiers would ALC spontaneously without being given the chance to reposition their military attire. Above information donated by the Vietnam Veterans Association
  17. I am regularly affected by the condition known as Empty Room Syndrome or as its sometimes known as Hide & Seek Disease. I cannot imagine how debilitating this condition must be for people who live in stately homes or the arctic circle. I know several people who suffer regularly from ERS or HSD. I originally thought this condition only affected males but I was surprised to find females also suffer from these conditions too. It appears women who are asked if they suffer from ERS or HSD sometimes deny they are sufferers because when asked become affected by BRD (Bashful Response Disorder), a condition that prevents them answering truthfully. The most significant symptom of ERS/HSD is technically known as ICP (Induced Cutter Perspiration). This can only be allieviated by a procedure called ALC or Actually Laying Cable. ALC is not recommended for use in ERS due to enviromental issues but is perfectly suited to HSD, although it may reveal your location. So remember, if your male ERS/HSD = ICP = ALC. And if your female then it is ERS/HSD = BRD = ICP = ALC. I hope the above information has given you a much better understanding of the subject.
  18. wow Where did that lot come from Cheers BDB I will have a play with it later Thanks matey
  19. I always punish tailgaters by reducing my speed to that of a walker, regardless of where I am. Tailgating is horrendous in the extreme I have had tailgaters who were so close i thought I was towing them. They can clearly see I have kids in the car too They soon get fed up with driving at 2 miles per hour and either drive past you, back off or want a confrontation. I will deal with any of those 3 options happily.
  20. I think women make better drivers than men. They seem to be more calm whilst out on the road than blokes do. I have terrible problems with road rage, to the point where I have made myself physically exhausted through stress and anger on even the shortest of journeys. I have very little tolerance for other drivers who make even the smallest mistake. I have only seen women raging on perhaps 2 or 3 occasions.
  21. Well spotted Bazzo. I have also noticed this phenomenon. Second in the league of mouth born pavement projectiles is Phlegm. How difficult can it be to retain lung butter until you have got home.
  22. I could pull em out for you:) I have some pliers. It wont hurt honest:D
