  1. I did the same, I hope that its not worth a lot because its a picture that I want to buy Its a picture of Bradfield but somewhere that my Mum loved to go so was hoping that it would be within my budget to buy as a little memento.
  2. Does anyone have any information about this artist please? I know that he has sadly passed away some years ago but I am interested in a painting by him and would like some sort of idea of its worth.
  3. Yes thats right, if not you could ask Rainrescue, I would have thought that rescues would be queuing up for help with kittens at the moment.
  4. Have you tries Magsie on here? she is always desperate for help with cats and kittens, lots of the feral kittens need the sort of help that you are offering...there are so many I dont know how she does it.
  5. Well that is definitely a good offer and not one easy to come by
  6. That is a great offer, its not realistic though to expect someone to just collect all the cats and take them away, the best that can happen short term is to stop them breeding then it gives time to find them homes, if the OP wont help then I dont see what can be done, there just isn't room for cats its a terrible situation I dont think that people realise.
  7. So who have you asked for help with them? cant anyone offer them a place?
  8. I'm sorry to say that after discussion with Admin it was decided that to allow the swaps would open the floodgates to loads of ads in the groups again, so it was decided that you should use the classifieds please.
  9. Would you please re-post this in the job vacancies area of the forum, as job ads are not allowed in the groups, I have seen several professional gardeners advertise ion there so you should get sorted before too long
  10. Hi Lisa Have you seen this thread?
  11. So sorry to see what has happened, it hurts so much for our friends to be taken like this, they stay forever in our hearts and memory, but the pain does grow less in time...I hope that you feel better soon x
  12. Once again the dog pound is desperately in need of bedding for the dogs. They don't want pillows, cushions, duvets. What they do need is, big towels, duvet covers, blankets, things easily washed and dried. If you have anything suitable please call the pound on 07817497995 to let them know that you are bringing it in
  13. I think that this happens to a lot of council and H association tenants in flats and bungalows, once the age restrictions are removed they put in people that will make life impossible for ordinary people that want to live a quiet and decent life, once it starts things are never the same again...and I guess its the same for Page hall as well
  14. Hello If you look in the sticky threads at the top of the group you will find a template to fill in to rehome your pet, could you fill that in for your rabbits please, if you need any help just ask.
  15. That may not be able to happen right away, but neutering needs to happen in the mean time to stop them breeding more. Just give them a call or message see what they say. ---------- Post added 14-08-2017 at 17:20 ---------- Any news on these cats?
  16. Have you tried Cats protection? at the very least they will sort out neutering to stop further breeding, if not you are going to end up with a feral colony there. Please contact the people on this thread for help and advice. http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=972361
  17. Yes, one now and one each month after, if you really need to treat them as often as that, unless they have a lot of fleas or likely to get a lot I would do them 6 weekly or even less.
  18. I dont think that it matters so much for an adult cat but it does with kittens, they really do need input to be friendly nice cats, as well as some supervision they can easily get themselves into a lot of trouble...and like all small animals they need regular small meals in the day 8 hours between is too long.
  19. To be fair Frontline used to be the absolute best, its a pity that the fleas appear to now be resistant, they need to change the composition now, I'm surprised that they sell much at all.
  20. We have a lot of pets and dont routinely de flea either, I tend to do mine late spring, then autumn (unless they really need it before) and summer I spray my carpet, we never have a flea problem I just watch for them getting itchy, I dont think lots of chemicals are good especially for no reason.
  21. No, it seems to work for some and not others which is really strange, I think that the fleas just build up resistance in some areas, its like Childrens Nit stuff (sorry lol) they use different ones in different places and swap over from time to time to stop resistance...if it works for you dont worry, if it aint broke dont fix it as they say
  22. It stopped working on ours they never have a flea problem but we did with Frontline, many other people are saying the same thing, it seems that in some places fleas are becoming resistant to it, Adavantage has a different ingredient.
  23. Advantage is very good and cheaper than Frontline, plus some people are finding that Frontline is no longer very effective, I recommend trying a website called Animed, very good prices and quick delivery, I use them all of the time now.
  24. Lovely friendly Boy doesn't bite, he will be scared and hungry and his Mum is missing him, they have never been apart before Please get in touch if you see or find him, he should be easy to catch. ---------- Post added 24-07-2017 at 13:34 ---------- This little Chap is still missing, its been way too long now, please keep a look out for him, owners are worried sick
  25. Oh aren't they gorgeous? and some look like they might end up semi long haired no more cats for me but it doesn't stop me wishing
