  1. I am going to be moving on Ecclesall Road next month (between Endcliffe Park and Napoleons) and am not sure what the parking is like. i have looked on the council site and it doesn't seem to be permit parking anywhere near there... Can you park in the bus lane (on a single yellow line) after a certain time? Can you park around the side streets (Onslow Road, Rustling Road etc.) or are these permit holders? Any advice welcome!!
  2. I've just seen this, I'm 24 and (very similarly) just split up with my boyfriend. I have got a few friends up here, but a lot of them are in relationships, or have moved back after uni / gone travelling. I would be interested in meeting a few new people and finding new places to go! x
  3. Hello, I am looking for a dentist around Sharrowvale / Eccy Road, can anybody recommend a good one around here? I am not the best with dentists, so a friendly one would be nice!!! I have never registered with a dentist either, so any help on what I need to do to register will also be helpful!! Thank you!!
  4. Our neighbour has got a few cats, they are lovely and friendly, but keep going to the toilet in our garden... Everything I have seen to help stop this is for dogs and cats - but we want our dog to keep going in the garden.. Does anybody know of anything that would put them off, without stopping the dog? Thank you for any advice!!
  5. The Pasta Bar on Sharrowvale Road is really lovely. They do a special lunchtime deal, garlic bread or salad with a bowl of pasta for £5.50 (I think) at weekends. I think they do buy one get on free on Sunday nights too.. Went last week. Definitely reccomend!!
  6. Thank you for your concern!! She is fine, just feeling a bit sorry for herself! He said that he didn't recognise the breed, but it was medium sized, quite stocky and white - sorry that's not much of a description to go on!! Thank you for the advice about popping her on the lead, we will definitely think more carefully in the future with her!!
  7. Yesterday my other half was walking our dog through the cemetry on Cemetry Road, she was off her lead but was walking next to him. Another dog, who was on a retractable lead, ran across in front of him and started biting our dog. She came away with a pretty big cut on her foot, a punctured ear and minor scratches and bruises over her legs and chest. The other dog's owner apparently just stood there while my partner had to try and seperate them, then just walked off. We took her to the vet and she's just got some antibiotics. I was just wondering if he should have got any details from her or anything? Obviously its too late now, but just for future reference if this ever happened again, what should we have done?
