  1. If it looks a different colour then it probably is. You should not be able to tell the difference if done correctly. It may have been the correct paint code but colour fades over time, so the paint should always be mixed to the panels on the car. If you are unhappy take it back and ask them to do it again. I would not pay for a sub-standard job.
  2. Anyone got any latest reviews on this company? Looking around for estate agents, and wondering if online, or shop based is best.
  3. For a 1000 miles a year it won't. 30,000 miles a year maybe.
  4. Simple answer is no they dont. Something like this will do you fine, http://www.millersoils.net/M3_cgi/millers2.cgi?product_id=44&exact_match=on&type=motorsport&cart_id=
  5. Just shove millers or similar in it. Or shell do their own brand of fuel additive. Not worth the effort to convert considering the mileage you will be doing.
  6. That is right, I normally find reccomendation by others is better. Thanks to those who have made suggestions.
  7. Where do people get their energy performance certificates from locally?
  8. I would say anything over 20 years old, others would say 25 years. These are probably the two most common dates used to denote a car as a classic. As other have said who can deny a Capri is a not a classic?
  9. The trouble is most classic cars are ineligible to enter your event kimchris, as mentioned here: http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=568603
  10. It isn't as a date on the promotors website, so I would guess not. http://www.transtarpromotions.com/showdates.html
  11. That is my question as well? Very bizarre logic to be honest. Why on earth you think a car has to be 38+ years old to be recognised a classic is beyond me.
  12. Please stop spamming the classic car group with the link to your forum.
  13. The actual appliance will tell you its rating without having to use a meter.
  14. Don't use silicon grease. Can you picture the mess of clothing as people brush past it! You can purchase silicone spray from the motorfactors.
  15. Manged to resolve this. Removed mac address filtering, and it worked. So I re-added the laptop to the router, re-set mac address filtering and it appears to be working. Strange as it was definitely the correct mac address previously. Thanks for all the help.
  16. I use Microsoft Publisher (magazine publishing) to the person asking why pay for it and couldn't be without it. Well do you know I think it was a corrupt exe, as I copied it across the network from my desktop and then it worked fine. So I guess I was wrong by assuming it wasn't. Thankyou for all the help.
  17. Yes definately switched on I will try the WPA-PSK, TKIP again. I did type the settings in manually last night, but still didn't do anything. It doesn't even appear to be trying to connect. Works off the LAN fine.
  18. I never had the media disc. I purchased through digital river - the guys who do the ultimate steal, so downloaded the exe. I also paid the additional for the media disc but they never ever sent it to me. It isn't a corrupted exe as it works on other PCs not running vista. I uninstalled all the office trial, and rebooted before I started. Any other ideas?
  19. Just got a new laptop and it has vista installed. I can't get it to connect to my wireless network and I have no idea why. I run mac address filtering, wpa-psk on tkip. I have added the mac address to the router software. I type in the password for connection and vista just says no can do, it doesn't even seem to try to connect.
  20. Hi, I have just been sent a replacement laptop under warranty, it unfortunately comes with Vista Home Premium. It came with a 60 day trial of Office Home so I installed it as I purchased Office Ultimate 2007 last year. However when I go to install it it keeps saying "The installation of this package failed" Anyone any ideas, I did google but couldn't find anything to fix the issue.
