  1. Only benefit i get is the 25% single person reduction no other help at all as i earn a whopping 19-20k a year!
  2. So as i live on my own & i'm working will i now have to pay full council tax?
  3. When i lived in Manchester i used to park one car on drive and other on pavement but this was because the pavement was that wide you could get a double buggy past easily even when palked on pavement so there was no problem. As i said earluier palking and totally blocking a pavement should not go on and i think there should be a department of Council/Police you can ring who will come and just tow the vehicle then £150 to release would soon stop it.
  4. Got to agree with a earlier poster theres some nice areas in West Melton which means you could possibly walk to work.
  5. Sure he gets paid round here and he's the nosiest ******* i've ever met also, **** cleaning mine i'll wait for council as they have just gladly taken my latest installment of council(made up to take more from the working) tax.
  6. Really i'd says common sense tells you Road = Vehicle right of way Pavement = Pedestrian right of way Cars shouldnt park on pavement unless it leaves enough room for a double buggy to pass & People shouldnt really walk on the Road as its for Vehicles.
  7. Round our area we have somebody who litter picks all the time seems to have a full time job doing this, Why dont they just switch these people to gritting pavements during the bad weather? Was actually trying to pick litter thru the snow other day couldnt believe what i was seeing.
  8. Walking distance to Manvers is loads of new housing estates however Wath is a bit of a **** hole TBH. I'd look at Birdwell(Barnsley) or Chapeltown(Sheffield) for easiest commute but for value for money i'd be looking Bramley/Ravenfield areas as nice areas of Rotherham and got a lot for your money compared to Sheffield. You would probably need to drive from all these areas though.
  9. 2 & 1/2 pints on a night out is highly unlikely to put you over the limit, 2 & 1/2 pints on half hour probably will. Wouldnt say thats reckless anymore than doing 80 on motorway which we all have done at some stage so think about your saying.
  10. Really must just employee a lot of Indians aswell then who dont no what there doing!
  11. Dont make excuses because there old and think they can get away with anything, they cant. Neighbours can be a pain in the arse or a pleasure. Only bad neighbour i've had was when i lived in kiverton sat in caravan smoking weed all night, People coming and going to buy & sell all hours which i didnt really have a issue with then 14year old decided its funny to start shining laser lights at my window and throwing stuff at front window. Answer went out with a old baseball bat with mate who i lived with told them in no uncertain terms what would happen next time anything happened like that agin and hey presto for next 6months until i moved no more problems(young un even helped jump start my car a few weeks later). Basically if you let them walk all over you they will as some people are just bullys but dont like being given it back.
  12. ADT monitored and from past experience very good response times from police.
  13. How thick can somebody be to not think I'm driving past a major football ground, Shall i check if theres a game on or just whinge if get stuck in traffic guess i'll just whinge. As for major route yes it is but theres other ways to get in/out the city for christ sake. Both clubs were there before me/you & everybody else that either lives or has to drive past the grounds so people shouldnt whinge about it nobody made them move there or drive past either ground on match day.
  14. A very small percentage of people will have to travel near either ground on match day. Theres more than 1 way to get where your going, Always amazes me when people are trying to drive past Hillsborough just as the match finishes i'm sure majority of these journeys could have been done a hour either side to avoid all the traffic.
  15. Sheffields a big place so why Buy/Rent a house near a football ground if you dont likr it or are willing to put up with say 25 match days a year??? Crazy as unless your 120year old that ground was there before you.
