A few years ago my late father, who was 88 at the time, mistakenly put his garden waste in his cardboard bin, the bin men didn't empty it, I was there and said cant you empty it as he's made a mistake and will then put his cardboard in that empty bin, they said "no you'll have to ring enquiries " crazy it'll only take a minute, I said, they carried on with their round. We rang the enquiries and were told to leave the bin out and they'll come for it, 3 days later they did!, absolutely ridiculous !, talk about wasting time & money, absolute jobsworth!

My blue bin was a quarter full when it went out Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning bottles & cans all over front garden & drive, picked them up, non were mine & my dustbin is 3/4full with over folks rubbish !🙄
