  1. Hello, Next year, we are getting married abroad. We have two little dogs who normally stay with family however family are attending the Wedding. Because of this, we are looking to find somewhere where our doggies can have a little holiday of their own. I am adamant I don't want them to go into kennels - I couldn't bear the thought. A member of our family is coming back after the first week to look after them so it is just the first week we are stuck for. Does anyone know anywhere such as a home from home boarding place with availability in September for 1 week? Thankyou.
  2. Have you thought of trying the new Thunder shirt jackets? They sell them @ most mainstream pet shops - they've had brill reviews for calming them down. Our dog also suffers from anxiety but this helps her. It hugs them and sends them relaxed
  3. This thread is disgraceful. Puppies have been stolen and all you people can do is argue about their breed. At the end of the day a dog is a dog. It is a living being and no matter what breed they are, they don't deserve to be stolen. People don't look into why these breeds are mixed.. Some take advantage and breed them as designer dogs but others get them for other reasons. For starters, breeding them with other breeds help reduce the risk of health problems. I own a cavapoo - yes she is a mongrel but I wouldn't treat her different if she was a pedigree.. She's the most loving obedient dog I know. I've owned cavaliers and known poodles- for her, her heart problems for the cavvie are significantly reduced and her life is prolonged. She has cavvie traits of being laid back and lazy but traits like her intelligence come from her poodle side. We decided on a cross as she doesn't malt - this is good for a household like us that have asthma. When I look at her, she is a mongrel and like every other dog she is beautiful so please do not hate on these crossbreed- some are doing good for both the dogs and owners. Let's hope these puppies are found soon- I'm sure they'll be missing their mom
  4. AllFurLove do a service where they will stay with your dogs all day and check on them late evening then early morning, or regular checks through the days noted. mother in law has just used them for a similar thing.
  5. She is very spoilt! Thanks - think i'll stay with them. I had the rabbits neutered there and they were fantastic with them. Just wanted to put the feelers out really as never had a bitch, always a dog.
  6. Its coming up to the female puppy's 6 month birthday & I'm wanting to get her neutered before her first season to avoid any risk of cancers etc. We recently took a look at Companion Care at Pets at Home who are charging £78 for spaying. She has been here for all of her puppy care since we got her so I'm heading towards these.. As I've always had male dogs I was wondering, is this the going price for neutering nowadays? Seems pretty reasonable to me or is there anywhere better and cheaper?
  7. Need a venue for a festive lunch before xmas for around 10-15 people. Venue needs to be pretty central to the city centre and be well priced (under £20). Only looking for somewhere low key. Does anybody have any ideas

  9. So, thought I would start a thread for us Unlimited members or film goers that would like to discuss current films they've seen! Whos up first?
  10. A couple of months ago, my bunnies started fighting (both males). One is a French lop, the other English Rabbit. At current they are about 8-9 months old and we've kept them apart for the 2 months as we were told to keep them apart. They can see each other from their enclosures. I'm at my wits end really with the situation and I'm wanting to get them sorted purely as I like to bring them in for the winter but there is only one enclosure inside. This is why we've been thinking of getting them neutered. We've been told its almost impossible for them to re-bond after this situation. I don't know what to do.. They were so loving with each other before. I don't know whether to take the risk or rehome them into loving homes.. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thankyou:help:
  11. Lost jack russell found Please PM if you know her. She is white with a tan face.. She was found at malin bridge hillboro.
  12. Came with my partner Shockwave to buy a cage urgently from you and was shocked to see how many piggies go abandoned! So heartbreaking - I will never buy from pet shops again; theres some gorgeous piggies out there waiting to be adopted <3
  13. Hi there. Does anyone on here have a spare pet carrier for trip to vets? I have two rabbits that hate being apart so a cat carrier would be best! Willing to pay! Thanks
  14. Thanks for replying.. There's no foot thumping. Theyre living indoors in our conservatory/large porch. I got them from pets at home x
