Well by chance and the internet - this group. I found it. Went to Classic Rock. Bingo. New local. Was welcomed made to feel great had a gallon with Andy & Eve. It was a great atmosphere. Stella was cold, Music great and even had a drum kit you could beat the F&^%$ out of !!! Had a kip in the afternoon and went back for more in the night! Even better, there were some drummers who could actually play the darn things! Music brilliant and such a great bunch of lads and lasses...Great hosts Sass & Buffy I do appreciate it. May have been asked a 1000 times. Is it buffy and sass of The Sportsman fame? I remember one cold saturday trying to sort out Sasses computer at Yorkshireman...Will be at Classic Rock as soon as. Fantastic music

I tried a speed dating meal at "Buskers Bar" opposite McDonalds top of moor. Was a great nite! £15 3 course meal, give them your name, turn up and there were about 20 or so "couples" moved on after courses and left to own devices at end of night. Definitely not seedy or corny, all over 25, lots of different backgrounds, I met a lass we dated for a couple of months but still friends. Go for it!

Any on e remember the play (about early 80s) that was about a nuclear bomb going off over Sheffield? Scared the daylights out of me, looked real. What was it called?
