  1. One thing to make clear - My nephew has far from a bad 'Home life'.. I simply asked for information and advice on how to approach the school or other educational departments so this situation could be resolved promptly and efficiently. As for the headteacher laughing and joking with the other pupils parents I was simply stating that I thought this was unprofessional and this left my sister feeling uncomfortable on approaching the headteacher with further complaints. (The laughing and joking took place straight after the complaint was made by my sister). Put yourself in my sisters posistion, she feels like she cannot approach any of the teachers not just the head... So how does an 8 year old do this? As for the comment about him having bruises, he comes home weekly with bruises and as for the latest one he has got bruises, scratches where he was pushed into a bush and a cut inside his mouth. This has been on-going since May with promises from the school to resolve the situation and so far its November and only getting worse.
  2. Thank you everyone, i will pass it on to my sister. Gnvqsos- my sister doesn't have internet access and asked me to look for her, i thought i'd write on here to see if anyone has had a similar experiencethat could help. As for the laughing and joking no i haven't but i can't see my sister lying, and the headteacher is horrible anyway as i know my sister and other people that have had run ins with her in the past.
  3. Hi, My nephew goes to a school, he's been getting bullied by two of his supposed friends, they used to be friends but now those two have decided they no longer like my nephew. Their parents seem to not be interested and if anything encourage them more. His mum has spoken to the head teacher and she reckons they don't class my nephew as a 'victim' because he fights back, although he doesn't but he wont stand and take it all the time. Today he's come home from school and said they both had him on the floor during playtime kicking him and hitting him whilst other children were egging them on. Where are the teachers? and why is no one protecting him. My nephew never smiles anymore, is doing quite bad at school now and i feel its all because of this yet the school reckon its his 'home life' which has never changed so they'd be no reason for him to just start acting out. I want this sorting as there in junior school now and are more than likely going to end up in the same senior school and would think as they get older the violence is only going to get more aggressive. So does anyone know who i can contact about this? because the headteacher never takes anything my sister says seriously and when the headteacher speaks to the other children's parents she stands laughing and joking with them. My sister is also trying to move him schools, but has another child and is finding it difficult to get two seperate places in different years. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
