  1. It all depends on what kind of meter you have, prepayment, smart meter, pay monthly/quarterly or in receipt of bill 🙂
  2. I hadn't thought of Atkinsons, Thank you!
  3. Hi, does anyone know where I could buy a mens double sided razor? I know they used to sell them in the likes of boots, superdrug and wilkinsons (the razor I'm looking for is a Wilkinson sword classic or similar) but I can seem to find 1 anywhere apart from John Lewis the only problem with that 1 is it's £35! Has anyone seen 1 in any shops recently? It's hopefully going to be a last minute father's day present as he's only just decided what he wants. Thanks
  4. I bought some bright red ones from homebase, Argos also sell them.
  5. I was made homeless at 15 (long story but it was forced on me by siblings) and I went to Howden house, they put me in touch with various hostels that were willing to take me on at such a young age. If I was you id get there early though as it gets very busy! Best of luck!
  6. Yeah she did, I still can't believe. They were in my living room and I had the window but I didn't know that babies can get pneumonia from it though, thanks for the advice.
  7. I had a few problems with my HV 1 of which makes me laugh now my son is older but at the time made me cry, on 1 of her home visits she shouted at me for drying clothes on the radiator and told me my 3 week old son would soon be crawling and he would hang himself from them. I felt like a failure and the worst mum in the world, fortunately my oh was there and told her straight. The other things include him being to long (how is that my fault) and growing to quickly. Needless to say I haven't seen her in a good few months and don't plan on it
  8. Hi, its the same as mine. I'm currently paying £27 a month for 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb of data on a windows phone. I got an email saying mines going up 67p a month but thats only on the line rental that is £21 a month, the other £6 is a data bolt on! Luckily my contract runs out in April 2013 but I won't be renewing as ive already got a better deal else where.
  9. The best 1 I've heard is what my bloke said to me, Where have you been all my life? To which i replied hiding from you, how the f**k did you find me!
  10. Thank you! You're all stars! And Kaye I feel your pain mine still doesn't sleep through, he's either hungry because he's going through a growth spurt or he teething. 2 teeth did come through at once though and now he's started with his top ones.
  11. I had a look in asda yesterday and they didn't have any, I dont know why I didn't think of mothercare seen as how they get most of my money lol. Thanks a lot :-) and yes he is huge! My niece is 4 weeks younger than him and he's nearly twice the size of her. He just won't stop growing! Not bad to say he was only 6lbs 11oz when he was born and last time he got weighed more than a month and a half ago he was 21lbs 8oz!
  12. Good morning, my son is 7 months old in 3 days but is already struggling to fit in 12-18 months clothes! Most things are easy to find in the next size up but when it comes to vests/bodysuits they seem to be impossible to find! Does anyone know where I can get some? with the winter coming, I want to make sure he's nice and warm. Thanks for reading.
  13. Wow congratulations!! I've got a 6 week old son and daddy bear and me plan on having a small age gap between him and the next one if we manage to be blessed again. I personally think smaller age gaps are better than larger ones so they can be close :-D
  14. I've agree with Clik32, it took me 3 years to fall pregnant from stopping taking the pill where as it took my sister 2 months after coming off the same pill.
  15. Thank you everyone! I'd do it all again tomorrow if I could. He's 11 days old now and I miss being pregnant already :-( Congrats on your baby girl Adz how exciting xx
