Hi Apologies if this has been asked before, I've searched and couldn't find anything. I live in Doncaster, and I am looking at a job that has come up in Hyde/Manchester (post code SK14). The easiest/shortest/quickiest route appears to be along the Woodhead pass, however I can see from posts on this site that it does have some trouble in bad weather. As a very rough idea, how bad is it as a daily commute, given that the alternative route would add far too many miles (along Woodhead pass it would be 45 miles) to my journey to make it worthwhile looking at the role? Does it close quite often during winter? Cheers. Nick
