I have found many people pressing the buttons on pelican crossings when there is no traffic nearby and therefore no need to press the button in the first place!. Also when lights do turn green it takes some people ages to set off and get going maybe in the middle of texting or day dreaming etc. I agree there are far too many sets of lights around the University island but God forbid that students have to walk a little further than necessary. Plus the lights are too close to the exits from the roundabout. What's needed is a Walkover bridge between the buildings.

Hi We have recently taken delivery of a number of items that have been delivered on two wooden Pallets. We dont want the pallets so if you want them you can have them for free if you are able to collect them. They are at Handsworth in Sheffield same side as the Asda just a bit further up the main Road. I am looking for an honest, trustworthy, reliable cleaner to clean my house on a wkly basis. Dont want a cleaning company as have tried these and found the results are sometimes a bit poor depending on which team of cleaners they send. So would rather have the same single person for say 3 hours each week.who must be crb checked Any recomendations? Ps We live in the hillsborough /middlewood area

Sorry to hear about yr van. Apparentley there where a few attempted break ins of the shops at the bottom of lyminster road on foxhill road over the bank holiday weekend. The people that are responsible for this need stringing up! I take it you have informed the police.

thanks for the reply i am looking to lease a van or i think sometimes its called contract hire?. I am not looking to hire or rent a van so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Hopefully someone on here can help point me in the right direction. My Van which I have to use for deliveries in and around Sheffield everyday has broken down again (3rd time in the last 3 weeks). The van is 10yrs old and I am now seriously considering getting rid and getting something more reliable. I am looking at the possibility of leasing a van and have looked online but I cant seem to find anywhere in Sheffield that leases Vans?. I have found various websites that suggest that they are in Sheffield but when I look further they are not. I really want to go somewhere where I can have a look at the vehicles and have a chat with someone.

Hopefully someone on here can point me in the right direction. I have a very basic Excel programme that I use to create invoices but I need to add a couple of columns to allow for a % deduction in the total amount I am invoicing the individual for. Does anyone on here know of anyone I could perhaps send the programme to so I can get it ammended for a small cost?

After months of road disruptions to get this Sainsbury`s open I personally don't think its worth it. Like people have already said we have Morrisons/Aldi/Lidl/Asda and now a Netto in a very short distance so why do we need this Sainsbury`s and all the traffic problems it has created. Yes people like choice but how many different brands of beans do you want?. Personally I will not be shopping there which is my choice but looking at the empty car park on a daily basis it looks as though not many other people are either!. I received a mailer through the door advertising their new Wadsley Bridge Store but no offers no money off nothing to try and sooth my daily commute traffic problems that Sainsbury`s have created so I will shop elsewhere thankyou. To be honest this store should have never been granted planning permission given all the traffic problems it has created!.
