  1. OMG How will we manage without Westwood, Wildsmith, Dawson, Palmer Lees, Bannon, Pelupessy, Reach, Harris and Paterson? Probably better actually. I'm looking forward to it.
  2. Errm. Not everyone goes to the games. If they did, Wednesday would need a stadium the size of Oklahoma. I was joking. I normally joke. It's 7/10ths really. 70%.
  3. Wrong team selection again. Not that my starting eleven/squad would have done much better. But we'll never know.
  4. I didn't see the game, so can't really comment. Thankfully.
  5. Apparently (and I haven't checked) we've won our last 3 visits to Reading. In that case, the 3-0 prediction above is about right. I just hope Darren's worked some sort of magic at Middlewood Road.
  6. Someone has to wake them up, influence them and inspire them. They're all things they should do as a team, as a unit, between them, but this bunch of no hopers need a Nanny. IF HE WAKES THEM UP and inspires 'em, we have a 40/60 chance of staying up. If they continue to play like schoolboys, then it's League 1 here we come, and that would be complete humiliation for 2/3rds of Sheffield.
  7. Blinkin' 'eck. All our yesterdays. Meet the Ancestors. Horrible Histories.
  8. He'll want to be a legend at Wednesday. All Managers have that on their agenda. Trouble is, very few ever make it. If he keeps us up, I think he'll be added to the list. Only a teeny weeny legend, but it's a start.
  9. Moore has more chance to kick the players up the 'arris and forge some sort of unit with our sorry lot. I still suspect (and hope) he'll sort 'em out. Joào we'll do down south, I can't begin to say. Sheffield Wednesday Nil I suppose. So we won't win.
  10. Izzy Brown is probably the best player at the club. Shaw is one of our own and should start (and finish) every game. Brown made one slight mistake, Bannon takes 5 poor corners every game. Get off Brown's back. Agree about Lees though. Poor, poor, player.
  11. He's just informed us that his mates dad's a security man at S6 and Moore and his team have all 'walked out'. 😆
  12. Poor corner from Brown, but he, Börner and Shaw were the only ones who looked like footballers. Wildsmith, Lees, Bannan and Reach should be left out of our next starting eleven (or the squad maybe). Paterson and Windass tried and got in to some decent scoring positions, but didn't take 'em. Rhodes and Kachunga for me, next match. Palmer is out of sorts at the moment as well. Penney's still wet behind the ears but will have to retain his place, unless my choice for centre half, Uroghide, moves to left back for a few games, but then, who comes in at centre half? WE NEED 3 GOALKEEPERS. The ones we've got couldn't keep Goldfish. None of 'em. Darren will sort this shower out, but can he do it quickly enough? I hope so.
  13. I cannot abide the 2 metre tippy tappy sideways/backwards passing we love to do. It's so infuriating, negative, boring and embarrassing. Just who do we think we are? I hope Darren has currently got everyone of them by the neck, up against the wall and giving them the biggest rollocking they've ever had, and will ever have. Shocking!
  14. I wonder if Darren will pick the team. If he does, I'll be interested to see if he includes Pelupessy. If he does, that should tell all of us that he's a rated footballer. Every Manager we've had up to now has played him. I'd be keen to give Brown a run in the team. I'd get Green in as well. I'd keep Rhodes in for the season. I'd tell him to keep to the centre of the last third, not to go wide, and I'd have Green and Reach (or ???) supplying him properly twenty times a game. I like Kachunga as well, so I'd play him. That said, Paterson might be a better foil for Rhodes. I'd play Uroghide and Börner at Centre Half. I don't buy Lees as readily as some. With injuries all too common again, I'd go Palmer at right back (but I'd approach Swansea for Kieron Freeman. Great right sided player, whether defending or attacking. He deffo wouldn't make us worse). Bannan and Luongo, when fit, would be my choice, and I'd play Shaw, when we can. The above was posted about 4pm!! Wrong team choice in my opinion. Losing 1-0. No change there then. God, we're bad. Very bad.

I didn't know Green is injured. Same old story at S6. That treatment table must be lovely and warm.
  16. I can assure you that I won't have a pop at anybody. I'm excited about Darren's appointment. I think we'll see a marked difference, and a bright future for 2 or 3 years at least. I mean it. I've no qualms at all with him, he'll do well. Not sure he's got enough to lift us to do well against Rovrum, but I'm ready and willing to be amazed. Fingers crossed and all that. Chansiri has no option than to stick with, and support Darren for some time. Enough, is definitely enough.
  17. Sad news. R.I.P Saint. Condolences to family and friends
  18. I'm going to write a song given your beautiful inspiration. 2-0? Who to? Darren may inspire a half yard which could be the difference. That said, I wouldn't trust our lot to defend my back door, so IF we get anything here, I reckon we'll have to score 2 to draw, and 3 to win. We won't do it. We MAY get one, but I can't see any more, even against a poor side. Hope you're right Al. That syndrome does work quite often.
  19. It rolled off down to the 4th Division. I haven't reached there yet! 😉 Plus you threw it out cos it dint flippin work! I'm not falling for it pal. 🙂
  20. First reaction? CHANSIRI YOU IDIOT!!!! DO YOU NEVER LEARN?!?! Given 10 seconds to absorb the news, it could be a decent enough appointment. I think WBA were 4th when he was sacked, so not too shabby. Donny up and down on a Roller Coaster, but again, he was improving them by the week. Donny had a recent rough patch (did the players know Darren was going?). The team played open, attacking football, and the players enjoyed playing for him. I feel for Donny losing him, he was good for them. Football wise, we should see a great improvement, but we need wins, and a good few of 'em. If team spirit, and player enjoyment returns, we could go well. Suffice to say, I think Moore will reignite the club's 'up and at 'em' approach, and I'm looking forward to it. Welcome to Hell Darren!
  21. I've just seen a list of Chansiri's 'achievements' and actions on another Wednesday Forum. I suggest that you track it down. I thought he was pretty poor, but being reminded of his doings since his arrival showed how appalling it's all been. My God, I can't believe some of the things he's done. But he did them. Absolutely appalling.
