  1. Thanks for the tips. The reason I call it expensive is because where I'm from down south I could get a 20oz for £15. So in theory a 40 would be £30. But that's cool I see what you're saying.
  2. Thanks for the tips all! Unfortunately some places only take on graduates which is a shame. If anyone else thinks of anywhere please write in this post.
  3. I thought contractor jobs were only for senior developers though?
  4. Christ, that's a pretty depressing outlook on things. Realism tho! Thanks for your honesty. I'm a software developer. There must be some companies who need people like me?
  5. Hello all! I need some help on a bit of a problem I have. I moved to Sheffield to start a new job about 2 months ago. I'm really disliking everything about it already and I'm ready to move on already. It took me a while to find this job because I didn't know the city and I was using job agencies to try and get employment. Agencies in my experience are terrible. They don't work for you, they workfor themselves and often placed me on jobs that were either far too senior or not right. I was wondering if anyone knew at any places I could apply directly to? I know you have a HSBC, Sky, Plusnet, Learndirect offices here. Can someone please list any other companies that would be worth directly applying to through their website? There must be 100's! Thank you all!!
