  1. I know, no-one will see it here and there might be other people looking for a bonfire who will miss this. I'll ask mods to move it back to Sheffield Discussions. It is a major Sheffield event like you say.
  2. After Dark event is a bit far to travel. Does anyone know if any pubs are having a bonfire and/or fireworks tomorrow night?
  3. That's a good point actually, that could be taken in different way. as in 'what have I done wrong? or 'oh no, what have I done?' A bit like that Let Him Have it case...
  4. The last time I spoke to them they said they often have problems with IPhones/IPads. I think it's Safari. I tried logging in earlier and it didn't work, went through Google instead and got straight in.
  5. No, sorry. You dont own a husband or wife but you OWN a dog.
  6. I know what you're trying to say but I think 30 stitches speaks for itself...
  7. What do you think happened? Do you think he taunted them and revved them up? Really?
  8. To 'snap' and punch someone in the face you'd have to be provoked into it. This guy was just walking his little dog on a lead, where is the provocation in that? And what do you mean by pot, kettle and black? Didn't get that one...
  9. Give up! What a sweeping, untrue statement. Read the article.
  10. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/crime/sheffield-victim-and-his-dog-savaged-in-attack-1-6068505 I know this is controversial but these two horrible dogs have come from somewhere. Why do people insist on having massive vicious dogs? I'm sick of people banging the 'its not the dog, it's the owner' drum. It's the dog. And it's capabilities, no matter what the temperament. Beware people who live in this area, there is now a nasty Bull Mastive on the loose. Well done owner!
  11. Facebook is a nightmare... does this entire situation consist of 2 blokes and 1 lady by any chance?
  12. I had to read that twice to get it lol. I would let them call the police, they obviously won't. Also, how do you know the fake account has been blocked?
  13. This thread has had me howling. I love Sheffielders, proper sense of humour! The queue in the Post Office one is my fave!
  14. I was once sat watching telly when a random angry woman burst in, marched to the stairs and started screaming at someone to 'get down here! NOW!!!' Before she finally saw me and my sister sat there in our dressing gowns. She didn't even say anything, she just walked out! Never saw her again.
  15. Thanks folks. I always thought Amazon were reliable, ill give that number a try tomorrow. Thanks again
  16. Says dispatched on 22nd August but has still not arrived. I emailed the company last week but they haven't replied and All I get from Amazon is a link to contact the seller again. I'm sure it's a legitimate company as there are hundreds of positive feedback reviews. Does anyone know what the next step is?
  17. 'Other portals'. I paid £800 up front for a very reputable Estate Agent to 'market' my property.... they won't even put it in the window, let alone the Property Guide (apparently that's 'extra') And as a seller I expect my negotiator to work for me - that's what I am paying him for, he won't even do a mail shot. Sticking it on Rightmove is not enough. In my opinion (based on experience) Estate Agents are nothing but lazy, greedy sharks.
  18. 6ft, Long balding grey hair, thick glasses. Sounds distinctive to me. Maybe not, oh well. Still, hope someone recognises him!
  19. This guy has a very distinctive appearance - surely someone knows who he is http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/crime/appeal-after-man-asks-kids-to-get-in-his-car-in-sheffield-1-5780780
  20. Hi, looking for someone to cut a hedge down to its original size. Can anyone recommend someone reliable with a rough quote if poss. Thanks
  21. It's such a shame. I am quite a charitable person but idiots like this put so many people off and knacker things up for other homeless people in the process.
