Sheffield Against Sexism (more communists)
TheGuy replied to woodmally's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
What people like you always like to ignore is the fact that there are no end of women that enjoy flaunting themselves and being the sex object. -
Its classic methodology of anybody really, its natural for anyone to divert negative attention away from themselves and on to something else.

Unless and until you say who told you this, I for one will take this with a pinch of salt.

Good on you for this, there's nothing I hate more than littering...nearly everytime I walk from the car to my front door, I pick up bits of litter on the way; some people look at me funny and think I'm making some sort of statement to them by doing it.

Aaah, but that matters not, remember the guidance..."any event is racist if perceived to be so by ANYONE". People perceive what he said to racist, so it is. End of. Can't argue with Macpherson. -

So that Sheffield Labour can not blame the government for changing to fortnightly bin collections due to lack of funds. -

TheGuy replied to RosyRat's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Sorry for being a bit dim, but what point are you making here? you're telling me councils that have fortnightly bin collections haven't applied for government funding to stay/revert to weekly collections, even though the money is there?? Thats the reason for the question(re SCC)... why not?? -
Brief encounter with Lib Dems in Stannington
TheGuy replied to RosyRat's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
1. Why are labour cutting weekly bin collections when the government has offered money to save them? 2. Whay are Labour cutting spending on road safety in places like Stannington but increasing it in their favoured areas of NE Sheffield? 3. Why are the Sheffield Labour lot campaigning against cuts when their leaders say they wont reverse any of them? Three great questions I think. -

I remember now, the programme was Inside Out on the BBC, It did a feature on the Hillsborough disaster; I've found a BBC web page for it with a video of the episode itself http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/content/articles/2009/03/09/yorks_lincs_hillsborough_s15_w9_video_feature.shtml The video isn't working at the moment, (for me anyway, I dont know about anyone else) but I remember it showed some "never before seen footage" of a gate being opened and hundreds of people running through. -

I'm not making it up at all. I'm racking my brain now to remember the name of the programme; it showed black and white footage of a gate being opened and hundreds of people bursting in...there was a copper on a white horse attempting to direct the crowd. -

There was some rare, never before seen cctv footage shown on TV last year of that moment...it showed the gate being opened and hundreds of fans surging in, running like mad. -

Correct. The police made all sorts of mistakes, but if those late arrivals were sober and orderly then that disaster would not have happened. -
You may or may not think its right, but what Harvey19 is saying is factually correct.
