Experience Hillsborough this Christmas at our festive family Christmas Fair. The fun starts in the library at 3.30pm with the making of decorations for the tree, then at 4.45pm we prepare for the lighting of the magnificent Christmas tree at the entrance to Hillsborough Park on Middlewood Road. Then things will hot up as the Festive Treasure Hunt gets under way. There will be prizes and surprises along the way in the search for Santa's grotto, and for all those who complete the Treasure Hunt there will be the chance to meet Santa in person and receive an early Christmas present from the big man himself! There will also be mulled wine, roasted chestnuts a local choir, and much more. So come along and join in the fun on Tuesday December 13th!! http://www.experiencehillsborough.co.uk

come along to the christmas event being organised by all the local community and traders of Hillsborough. There will be a christmas tree and lights plus lots of other festive activities...it starts at 4.30pm on the 13th decemeber. This is a great example of how communities can pull together and make a difference.

Hillsborough is far from boring...it is one of Sheffields largest shopping centres. Where else can you go and have sports facilities, library, college park, a range of high street and independent shops offering unique and niche products all within walking distance...there are some fantastic small businesses in Hillsborough and its not a fair comment to say "Boring is not the word".

A Community Cafe is due to be opened at Gaunt centre, do you think there is a need for this in the area?
